So, Im looking into this game because I like to do some Inquisitor models and painting.
First off, I live in the Nordic countries, where do I buy the book and any of the figurines? Nearest GW shop (not even sure they handle =][=) is some 600km away.

Also, are there any place where there are good, highresolution images of the Models? Bits work, prefferably unpainted, but painted works if nothing else is available.

Thanks in advance

As for the first, you can either buy them brand new from GW Mail Order, or - if you like bargain hunting and aren't too fussy - you could get them from eBay.

I actually tend to favour the latter. There's no shortage of half-painted or part-assembled models out there that sell for well below RRP. And you can pick up brand new models for less than retail price - although you have to foot the bill for postage, of course!

The other thing to remember is the vast expanse of non-GW 54mm models out there that nevertheless fit perfectly into the Inquisitor range with a bit of imagination. I have a 54mm Grima Wormtongue (uncoverted, which is unusual for me) painted up as an Imperial merchant.

I would be remiss not to mention the other possibility, which is the Arcadian Smugglers' Ring (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/arcadiansmugglers/) which allows players to swap and trade parts for Inquisitor in the spirit of supporting the hobby, worldwide.

And, of course, I should finally mention that playing Inquisitor doesn't mean playing at 54mm, unless you really want to. Personally, I love the larger scale for the game, but there's a good strong community of players out there who prefer to stick to good old 28mm models for their games - and more strength to them; the important thing is to play the game!

The rules can be found online as a .pdf (two parts, the rules and characters) on the SG area/website, but check ebay for the 'official' =I= models. 54mm is a popular size for historical figures, and these are available in a lot of gaming shops (I know at least one each in four cities here), and would give you even more options.

A friend of mine is working on a tau fire warrior and his crisis suit at the moment (converting up a robotech model) as the escort for the water caste ambassador.
