If anyone have got plans or are in the process of updating older Epic flyers (mostly to Aeronautica Imperialis scales) you can post it here; anything goes.

Myself, I've began pondering how the old Tzeentchian Firelord model would look nowadays since I saw IJW's model in Ye Olde Figure Collection. I'm however not too sure at all about sizes, and how large it would be by Aeronautica Imperialis standards, and then I've full up with other projects, but maybe in the future...

Looks a bit small, but not too small. I hope you paint it a bit different if you're doing a squad of them. I mean, I know it's Tzeentch, but that thing looks straight out of the animated movie 'Yellow Submarine' featuring the Beatles.

I'm curious if it would be possible to use a Land Speeder tempest in Aeronautica Imperialis. I mean, it's a flyer with an enclosed cockpit... Not sure if it would be fast enough, but it sure would be cool to have a squadron of those tiny speeders whizzing about.

Sizes have increased since, and of course one'll have to scale it up to date.

Definitely painted different if I makes one or even a number of.

Indeed, though I believe that their speed acceleration/tolerance are not high enough for effective squad-AA roles. But hidden in a valley or canyon, with some bombers flying low to not be detected on radar/auspex... well, hehe, then maybe.

Most, if not all, of the GW/SG flyers (and that includes the old ones like that Tzeentchian model) are way under scale by a factor of 2 compared to the FW models. I'd say in order for that to look as impressive as it would next to some old GW aircraft you're going to have to double all it's dimensions to have it make the same impression on the FW models.

I'm playing AI down at the local club today, some of the other guys have GW/SG flyers so I'll get some comparison pics against my FW squadrons to show the difference.

UPDATE: Got some pics taken. First up is a FW Thunderbolt next to the GW/SG Eldar Vampire, Phoenix, and Nightwing.

The second is a FW Valkyrie next to a GW/SG Vulture, where the size difference is clearly shown
