Greetings every one I have just found out about AI and I have never seen any epic models and by the sounds of it they are a little bigger then epic models so I was wondering if any one that has any of the models could snap a picture of one of the models with a space marine or imperial guard id would be much appreciated

Peace DuckMan

Somebody is me...

The Thunderhawk is the GW/SG/Epic Thunderhawk Mk 2 (there is an older one) not the FW/Epic or AeroImp Thunderhawk Mk 3.

I would imagine that the new Thunderhawk would be about the size of the distance between the back of the space marines base and the front of the thunderbolts base, possibly bigger?

I'd say bigger than that gap - the FW Thunderhawk is 10cm long, and 9cm wingspan. The Marine's base is 1"/2.5cm diameter, so there is a about 8cm between the Marine and the Thunderbolt by my reckoning. The FW Thunderhawk is going to be another base size bigger than that. Most of the GW/SG aircraft are way under scale, and the FW models are about twice as big (ie twice as long, twice as wide, twice as high, so 8x the volume).

Here's a comparison pic of a FW Valkyrie and a GW/SG Vulture that shows just how big the difference is:
