...but had a couple of trial dog-fights yesterday with the one rulebook and few aircraft the club already have. Very nice rules. Just melted the credit card with 186 of AI goodies from FW

Monday night is gaming night and so tomorrow we are planning a bombing run mission. Imperial bomber with fighter escort needs to take out an Eldar building. Eldar are obviously none-to-pleased with the concept and are out to stop them. We will be using the full length of my 12x4 table for some serious bomb-run action :D

I've also got plans for some scenry (coast-lines, urban terrain etc) and will post some pictures either as I go or once complete. I've gone for Orks so I'll put pics up of those as they arrive and get painted.

I'll report back on tomorrows game too.

Sounds like a very good idea :)

I'm sure The Dragons Tears will have a ridiculous amount of the stuff by then ;)

Give us a hint about what to expect from your terrain plans then! What did you have in mind for urban terrain?

Well I have a load of Epic Space Marine buildings to start with. That's the old card buildings though (the ones with the plastic roofs). I'll start with them just to play some games but my thoughts were around ruins and buildings like the Cities of Death stuff. I'm thinking about making up a load of 2'x2' boards with the appropriate colour/features and they key buildings/ruins which can be placed as required.

Of course, storage is always the problem but as the boards will not have that much releif on them, they should stack flat and not take up too much space. I'm also wondering If I can have different terrain on each side of the board...

also if you wanted to make it like you where really high up in the atmosphere you could basicly paint buildings on or only have them come up about 1 cm with a few taller then that

Too many tall buildings and an an uneven surface will make positioning planes tricky.

Do you guys still play at the king and queen in Brighton? I have Tau and Imperial Forces that need opponents :)Yes we do play there :D Follow the link to our site for event dates or just PM me if you fancy joining in on our regular Monday nights (round someones house rather than the K&Q).
