So what is this army lacking? Will the many small regiments make up for hitting power threw flanking? And with the spare points i have do you think i should give my warriors mark of tzneentch for 2 more power dice or do you think i should keep undivided for the retake pysc test?

get rid of the bsb at this points level... Drop him and add more marauders... Shields on them is a waist unless you get light armour and make them just hand weapon and shield...

ok will do but the point of the BsB was to save on standards for each unit, i will take into acount this and work on a new list

You would have to mark some of your units to have marked characters. You can still have slaanesh and Tzeentch if you keep your general Undivided. I might bump the warriors up to 12 each for 6 across and maybe draw the marauders up in two flail flankers.

I rather like the look of it. Maybe use two units of 6 hounds if you allow yourself non-mortal units (instead of one of the marauder horsemen units), to add some flexibility and cheap screening. Otherwise, this looks reliable and sober. No absurd power units, and a decent focus on MSU melee.

You still need a marked warrior unit if you want that sorceror to have mark of Slaanesh.

when you say that do you mean that i need a marked unit to have the sorcerer or that i need a mark to put the sorcerer in a unit? because i was planning on having the sorcerer on his own in the middle of my formation

That's one dead sorceror. At 1,000 points plenty of armies will have 10-15 S4 ranged attacks, plus 1-2 war machines. All of those will likely take a pot shot at your sorceror, once within range.... and war machines outrange most spells (as do crossbows).

hmm ok well what unit would be best to put the sorcerer in? i could merge the marauders and if i give them mark of slaanesh then there imune to psycology making them more reliable would that work well?

If you want a sorcerer with a mark in a undivided army you need to mark a unit (chaos warriors in this case)

ok thank you then would it be better to merge the C warrior units together so the sorcerer has a bigger meat shield or would it be better to giv ehte sorcerer one of the basic lores?
