"This is what happens when you mess up the round..."

They are excellent, and that gutted Torso is insane.

I said it before, but those are superb, you need to put them all together in the one thread though. Keep going I think I speak for all of us here 'we want to see more'.

Those are truly awesome. I have some CRM myself, which I am yet to paint, and you have provided some great inspiration. What paints are you using? Vallejo?

beautifully done!!

im very curious, could you take the time to give us a break down of the colors you used on their armor and uniforms, its an odd color i cant quite pin. i love the brutalized toros. you did a wonderful job on the blood splatter, could i also bother you to talk a little bit on how you did that haha.

please keep the pics coming
and any tips would be sweet too!

Excellent work! The muted colours are very reminiscent of the army guys from resident evil 4. Let's see the all the models together in a group shot.
Any plans for Chaos vehicles?

YES! Not only is it a nasty, gritty, realistic look, but it's also RENEGADES!!! Finally someone does them! FW needs to really up the anty on these models... DKoK aren't the only thing they are supposed to be doing for the next book... You should try to get a FW Best In Show award at the next GD you can get to with some nice militia! I know you would get it too!

Thanks guys! Will probably gather the boys into one thread as Iīm really enjoying painting these and thereīs bound to be more in the works. Just infantry for now... maybe a spawn, who knows?
I use GW and coat īd arms paints, these are almost entirely done with coat īd arms paints, although I always use GW inks and their excellent metallics. Only stuff I use from vallejo are varnish and matte/glaze medium, donīt like their paints much.
Hereīs a rundown on the metallics; they are done with a chainmail basecoat, washed a few times with a mix of orange tamiya clear ink and chaos black, then rehighlight with chainmail and wash with a mix of black/brown ink a couple times, then rehighlight with chainmail on the rivets and any extreme details and glaze the whole thing with a orange tamiya and black mix once more. Then I usually add some pure tamiya orange in select spots to simulate the chemicals seeping out. Add plenty of water whenever using clear inks on metallics as the alchohol can eat them up pretty easily.

Uniforms/armor are Coat īd arms field grey/green grey/slate grey highlighted with white or GW rotting flesh, Iīm not a great believer in exact formulas and I happily mix all these together and shade them with black and chestnut/brown/flesh wash in kcombos or scorched brown, which I used on the leather bits.

The quality of the uniforms matches or surpases anything I've seen in the Tamiya catalogs - absolutely top notch sir!!!!

They are VERY scarry looking without being cartoon-y!!!!

Me likey!!!!!!

Fantastic work! Your renegades are an inspiration for my own, but sadly I need to now go back and try and paint them better... :)
It's the orange that does it for me. It really adds something to the models without being overpowering.

May I ask how you paint the bases?
