Right well its finally open for recruitment. Traitor of the Inquisition will need more players and allow other returning players a chance to either change characters or alter them in some way.

So for those that missed Episode 1: Rebirth of the Daemon Prince, here is a very brief summary:

-Inquisitor Incendium recruited a team to hunt down an artifact traders that dealt with illegal artifacts and other things. It all came to one planet. Grantis Prime
-On this planet, they found corrupt things and the corruption was rooted deep.
-Incendium fell 'in love' with the Governor's Daughter, Lady Tatianna, and Incendium also kept a Daemonhost for reasons he did not disclose.
-Then a part of the team was sent to the sister planet where it was in a full rebellion.
-The rest followed shortly and then they landed, only to fight an Arch Heretic of Tzeentch. It revealed itself to be a Daemon Prince in service of the Daemon Prince it sought to release. The Daemonhost now called Kera save them, but was destroyed.
-Freya, Incendium's Interrogator was possessed by Kera and Freya went evil, but in a manipulative way. Her and Incendium shared some personal moments among other things aboard a transport ship that took longer than normal to reach Grantis Prime.
-Leaving the Warp, the transport ship was attacked and Incendium found Grantis Prime under assault by a chaos host of Lost and Damned forces.
-The Transportship did a suicide run and the captain gave his life as the Imperial shuttle made it to the only Imperial Base still in Imperial hands.
-A Company of Sisters of Battle from the Sisterhood of Righitous Fury was already on the planet, fighting alongside the PDF, protecting the Imperial Base
-Incendium discovered two things, one that Freya was possessed and Tatianna was a traitor. Freya was freed, but Incendium and her relationship hit a bad spot, completely. Tatianna was jailed.
-Then it was found the Chaos Host was heading to a Shrine of Saint Kyanna and Incendium and his team, alongside 150 Sisters headed off towards it.
-On route, they were assaulted by a chaos force. Incendium and Cannoness Katehrine found that the Imperial Base had fallen, they headed abck, the rest going forth.
-At the Temple, the enemy forces were destroyed, the champion killed by Lord Inquisitor Andrew and a Greater Daemon finished off by Freya.
-At the Imperial Base, Lady Tatianna summoned Bladeslake, but was 'killed' by a stray magical lightening bolt and then Incendium bound it to a sword sacraficing ten sisters.
-Then by a freak accident as the last of the binding process was nearly complete the sword was thrown into his chest by an explosion, therefore combining his soul with Bladeslake's.

Right thats most of it, I think.

Now heres the limitations (returning characters are not subject to them):
-No Space Marines, Sisters of Battle or Temple Assassins.
-0-1 Death Cultist Assassins
-0-1 Tech Priests
-No mutants, no freaks and no crazy people
-No Inquisitors
-0-1 Interrogators
-Imperial Technology only
-I insist (but will not completely force) that you carry at least one shooty weapon
-You may have one two-handed weapon, and two one-handed weapon, or three one-handed weapon. Throwing daggers do not count towards this limit (MAX of 5 throwing daggers though)
-No Xenos Characters whatsoever
-0-1 Psyker
-0-1 Pariah

The rest should be kosher.

Right, so now heres the plot:

Five Years Later after Grantis Prime and Bladeslake

Upon the planet of Thiva XI, it has been taken over by a Xenos race and the Imperial Gaurd is currently attempting to win it back. Its a long war thats been going on for 10 years now. Now an Imperial Gaurd commander has gone rogue taking some of his forces with him.

Incendium, now recently promoted to Inquisitor Lord, is going to take a force there and find the Commander and have him accounted for his crimes. Either by death in combat or an Interrogation Cell room.

Thats the general brief one ;)

I guess this means I have to repost Freya's details and such then.

Returning Character

Name: Freya Astador
Rank: Interrogator
Belief: Xanthite
Weapons: Bolt Pistol and Possessed Power Sword and a bound Daemonhost. As well as above alpha-level psychic powers due to her Daemon possession.
Armour: Usually an armoured body glove, but sometimes carapace armour.

Background: A native fenrisian, Freya was shunned from her tribe at an early age for her feral nature and slightly distrubing powers.
Believing her to be cursed, her nomadic tribe cast her out at the age of 15 on the wastes of Asahiem to die but Freya defied their wishes for her death and survived in the snow.
At the age of 20, she was found in a cave by a group of an Inquisitors entourage on a sweep of the area following heavy Choatic activity from the Eye of Terror. Although the Space Wolves had authority over the planet, the Inquisition was still allowed, all be it rather reluctantly to investigate the planet for any taint of Chaos.
They were just going to kill her, thinking she was Chaos tainted, especially when she crushed one of the groups heart in his chest with her mind. But the Inquisitor slightly impressed by her feral courage when so out-matched.
So, out of curiosity Incendium decided he would see if he could use her and so decided to take her with him to see if she was trainable.
And despite everything, she was a fast learner...due to her need to survive, yet she still seems quite feral. She left her tribe name and took Astador when she was gifted the rank of Interrogator to show that she had left her old life behind and was dedicated to the course and her master.

More resent background: During the mission to stop the rebirth of Bladeslask, Freya endured many things. She was poisoned with Daemon blood while she fough a gang of heretics while her master was off indulging himself with the governor's daughter. She slipped into a coma but managed to pull herself out of it with the help of Incendium....losing her left arm in the process.
After that, the Daemon blood that resides in her body made her the prefect target for possession by the Daemonhost Kera. And that was couple with being raped by one of the Traitors.
Although she does not remember anything during her possession, she learnt that she killed a Greater Daemon, manipulated most for the crew and slept with Incendium twice. This made her extremely cold and hateful towards the Inquisitor.

During the final battle, Freya killed a Greater Daemon of Slaanesh herself, using a possessed power sword she found. She doesn't know anything about it, though it has not reveal its power to her. She keeps it with her as it is now her weapons of choice as Incendium deliberately broke her beloved Chain axe.

After the mission was over, she followed Incendium rather than stay and be sanctioned by Inquisitor Lord Andrew as she knew she would be killed first. The missions she has been put on have been small in comparison to the last one. Mainly rouges and small traitor groups.

She highly dislikes the Inquisitor's new acolyte. An Interrogator called Meracus as she thinks he's a pompous ass who loves himself too much. He's a noble whereas she is just a feral girl.

Appearence: about 5' 7, shortish blonde hair, with pale grey eyes and three claw mark scars on her rightcheek, despite a few extra scars.
An augmatic left arm (to the elbow) that end in claws and augmatic ear drums which makes it extremely difficult to sneak up upon her.
Slightly enlongated canines that look rather like fangs
Wears dark coloured clothes with a long leather coat over the top.

Personality:Although she remains hostile to almost everyone, Freya has calmed down a little over the past 5 years. Keeping her temper in check mainly as an aide to control the vast psychic power she now has at her disposal.
She hates the Inquisitor but respects what he represents, but not the man himself after all that has happened.
She still is distrustful of the other members of the Inquisitors retinue.

In battle, she is sometimes taken over by blood lust and at times even tries to rend and tear her enemies to pieces with her bare hands. But such instances are growing less and less
Yet she can be methodical in her work, but its a cold calculated method she uses whichsometimes lacks grace.

And unfortunately for her....Freya has a psychic link with Incendium, especially on an emotional level....although neither of them show much emotion at all anymore after what has happened.

Name: Deplhian Keruss
Rank: Magos (tech priest)
Age: 203
Weapons: Bolt pistol, inferno pistol, power axe, servo arm (only if he has no other option will he use his servo arm as a weapon)
Armor: Delphian wears plane robes which hide his mostly bionic body which acts as its own armor, he also has a refractor field.
Other equipment: Servo arm(used primarily to help him with creation/maintainence of bionics), mechandrites.

Appearance: standing 5'11" Delphian is bald and the top right half of his head is bionic along with one eye and his ears, plugs run along his neck and the wires from those plugs lead into a generator on his back. Underneath his robes he is mostly mechanical, he has flesh remaining on one arm below the elbow. He also has one lower leg left that is organic. Delphian's one remaining eye is dark red.

Background: Delphian is quite anti social when it comes to people outside his order of tech priests as he views the organic as a desiese. Serving the machine god for over 150 years he was promoted to magos on a misson to a dead world, his team managed to recover some necrontyr technology though severe casualties were inflicted on the escorting imperial guard. Origionally from Terra itself Delphian always had an interest in machines and how they operated and how to appease the machine spirit. Recently he was hired by Incendium because he is a very skilled artificer of bionic organs and limbs, he is also handy in a scrap.

Personallity: Very calculating and cold Delphian is a brilliant mind however over the centuries he has lost all sense of when to be polite and all manners of such. When he speaks he is very blunt and to the point. He sees all organics as lesser beings and takes a long time to trust them as he sees their emotions such as love and hatred to only be weaknesses, he views computative logic to be supreme and only serves the inquisitor as he knows his place in the universe.

Right three new players already? Damn lol. Welcome to the RPG :).

Heres Incendium

Inquisitor Lord Incendium
Rank: Inquisitor Lord
Ordo: Hereticus
Belief: Radical Xanthite
Weapons: Bolt pistol and a possessed power sword*
Armour: Carapace armour on chest and legs, flak on arms.

Background: Incendium was once an Imperial Commisar who was the last one alive of his entire regiment after they went traitor. Incendium had personally slain the entire regiment by destroying its Troop transport's engines and steering into a sun. He was found by Inquisitor Samtis, a radical, and took him into his entourage as an Interagator. Incendium rose to the rank of Inquisitor after rooting out a heretic cult who murdered his Lord and killed every single one with his impressive pistol shots and swordmanship. Incendium has a rouge appearance and can easily blend into the darkness after one look. He has been trained extensively in sword fighting and dueling with pistols.

Upon the planet, Grantis Prime, a number of incidents happened that has compeltely changed Incendium both physically and mentally. He has become cold and ruthless. He feels no emotions and is completely ruthless and prefers to kill a target as there is no greater justice than death. He is still haunted by his past, but keeps fighting on trying to forget it. His body has been rebuilt to harbour alot of bionic organs and his face was burnt completely. He now wears a mask to cover his face. He has an unbreaking gaze.

ALongside Freya, Incendium has developed his psychic powers that he is now 'gifted' with thanks to the soul binding of Bladeslake. Together alongside whoever joined him, they have completed numerous acts in the name of the Emperor and finally Incendium was raised to Inquisitor Lord in thanks of his actions on Grantis Prime, three years later.

However, during the past five years he has been hounded by Puritan Inquisitors and has gone under a total of five 'tests.' Incendium has passed them without question, but still they hound him, seeing that his Soulbinding with Bladeslake making him dangerous.

He has gained two new Interrorgators and they seem not able to get along with Freya at all.

Also a small note about Incendium and Freya, they share a small minute psychic link, that has their souls joined in some odd way. Its just there.

Appearance: 6'1 ft high, lanky but musclular, long black cloak, Skull mask that never comes off, close cropped brown hair and a steely blue gaze, with a red bionic left eye with targeter and sensor.

Psychic Powers: Incendium is learned in Pyromancy and is considered to know all the powers. Also he has Regeneration, but its not instant and takes time, and is usually painful. Also he uses Telepathy to talk as he will not use his mechanical voice box.

*Possessed Power Sword: This is Bladeslake and Incendium and the Daemon Prince are in full contact with one another at all time. The sword cannot be weilded by anyone else as Bladeslake will not allow it. The Sword looks normal, expect in hand to hand it will glow a deep blue that looks like fire coming off of it.

And the newest NPC:

Name: Jeagen Meracus
Rank: Interrogator
Ordo: Hereticus
Belief: Radical Xanthite
Weapons: Master-crafted Combi-bolt/plasma pistol (extremely rare) and a power Katanna
Age: 23
Armour: Carapace armour all round and prefers to display it as it is painted silver with gold ridges. Wears a helmet that is reflective allowing no one to see his face, only in combat does he wear the armour and is usually in formal dress.
Appearance: Meracus is 5'7, built in the chest and arms, and has a face that looks handsome and threatening at the same time. He has long blonde hair and green eyes.

Background: Jeagen was born into the Noble House Meracus and was the third son of a long line. His role was to take over the public relations area of the family business on the Hive world. In reality, his role was to play suck up to the Governor and other officials so his family could do illegal dealings and cut corners. He was trained from birth and did not mind as he had all the perks of being a noble. It was then at the age of 20, he discovered that his friends were apart of a Slaaneshi cult. Meracus went into a rage and tracked down his best friend, followed him there, with only his father's combi-bolt/plasma pistol, Emperor's Judge and a power katanna, Meracus killed all of his friends and the cult Magos. He was then found by Incendium and Freya as they had been tracking the Magos. Incendium took the youth from the planet and has trained him as an Interrogator since.

Meracus is different from his Master. He is stuck-up, but knows how to talk to people and get what he wants. He considers himself the favoured pupil and will go to lengths to annoy Freya, even calling her Incendium's ****, which got him a scar on his right cheek from her claws. Meraucs cared not and has not changed one bit over the past three years.

Name: Alexander (Andy or Alex for short)
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Rank: Sanctioned Psyker
Belief: Imperial Cult

Weapons: Katana, crossbow with 20 bolts, las pistol in holster up left sleeve

Powers: Alexander has great command of electricity, he wraps thousands of volts around his crossbow bolts and can charge or power electrical equipment. He can also zap people but constantly electrifying people drains him quickly. (If this is still too much I'll drop this one all together)

Appearance: Wears flowing dark brown robes which look bulky and clumsy but are actually very light, allowing great freedom of movement. Alexander has jet black hair which falls to about shoulder length and it is often tied back. His sword is carried strapped to his back, under his robes.

Background: Was the chief sanctioned psyker of an Imperial garrison upon Chorax VII. When the world was assaulted by the forces of Chaos, his Colonel turned from the Emperors light and Alexander was forced to flee. Incendium arrived on the world a few days later to hunt down the traitor he found Alexander and took him in. He has remained with the Inquisitor since.
He also tends to produce static electricity wherever he goes. This often results in peoples hair standing on end when he is near them too much.

Let me know if there's anything else you want me to change.

Ok...and since she's still in it. One Daemonhost coming up

Name: 'Kera'
Rank: Daemonhost
Beliefs: Slaanesh

One of Fulgrim's Daemonettes, it was Kera's duty to stop the abombination known as Bladeslake from entering the material realm.

She was caught by Inquisitor Incendium and bound in the body of one of the dead retinue, a Rouge Trader named Keats.

Incendium used her to battle with the Greater Daemons of Slaanesh and ended up freeing herself from Keats to possess Freya so that she could use the young Interrogator's body to manipulate the others into helping her. She managed with some, including the Inquisitor, with whom she seduced. Leaving Freya with a glimpse of what she had made her and Incendium do, but most damning of all, allowing Freya to hear Incendium confess his love for her.

Yet in the end, she was found out, and excorsised from Freya's body into an empty, deformed host body and put under Freya's control. To which she still is.

Her host body was badly damaged during the cleanising of the planet and the battle that took place there...though she didn't get her revenge on the Traitor Tatianna herself...she still had managed to manipulate Incendium into seeing the truth.

Kera still remains in the ruin host body as Freya refuses to give her a new one. Kera is stil highly powerful but not as mobile as she once was. Freya hates and despies the Daemonhost, but understands it's power and usefulness even though it's presence is a deep insult to Freya and her honour. But also a constant reminder to Freya of her had befallen her.

Kera is kept in a quadruple warded cell which only Freya and Incendium have access to via gene-coded triple locking. She is only taken out of her cell if she is needed and no one is permitted to speak with her......though it is fear of Freya's wrath more than anything that keeps both the others and Kera's mouths shut.

Victor Lerensa, Inquisitorial Ward
Age: 29
Weapons: Pump action combat shotgun, Power Sword and an Autopistol
Armor: Victor wears full carapace armor including a full helmet.
Appearance: 5'11'', Mediumly built, Victor's face is marred by a large scar that runs from the corner of his left eye to his collar bone. Victor has very dark bonde hair which he prefers to wear short so that he can wear his helmet for extended periods of time without too much discomfort.

Background:
Victor seemed like an average recruit when he decided to join the ranks of the Adeptus Arbites at the age of 24, but this image was soon dispelled when his training began. Victor excelled in all of his close quarters combat excercises, able to adapt quickly to most situations his instructors threw at him. A more thorough background check of Victor revealed that he had been involved with many gang activities as well as having shortly served as a bodyguard for a well known Rogu Trader.

While Victor's past was questionable, his instructors urged the powers that be to let him continue on to become an Arbite, as his skills would be invaluable in some of the more hairy situations. Victor was allowed to continue his training, but under careful watch to assure that he did not fall back into ol habits. Although Victors skills in combat were unmatched by his peers, his negotiational skills and general people skills left much to be desired.

Though generally a nice person, Victor is prone to acting rashly when he feels not enough is being done. He loathes the bureaucracy that surrounds many of the Imperiums laws and prefers action to words. Despite his short commings, Victor became and arbite at the age of 26 and was stationed on Lerin IV. During the two years he was on Lerin IV, Victor managed to arrest more people than many of his fellow Arbites who had been on Lerin for over 20. However, Victor also held the dubious honor of having participate in the most fatal shootings in his departments history.

Victor's skills were noticed by a Inquisitor who was visiting Lerin in order to uncover some of the Govenor's dirty little secrets. The Inqusitor, named Ivan, personally requested Victor's help in his investigation and was delighted at how eager Victor was to aid the Imperium more directly. After the investigation was complete, Ivan requested that Victor join the ranks of the Inquisition as a ward and was delighted as Victor, again, jumped at the opportunity.

Victor is currently assigned to Inquisitor Incendium in order to aid in his efforts to track down a rogue Imperial Guard Commander. Victor has heard dubious stories about Incendium's exploits and is wary as to whether or not the man can be trusted.

Gyr Corvus, Crusader
Race: Human Male
Age: 27 Terran years
Allegiance: Imperium, Ordo Hereticus

Equipment:
Sunflame: The power sword of Saint Kyanna, the Angel of Karridan

MkIII Tyriel-pattern Suppression shield, engraved with Hexigrammic wards

MkIX Godwyn-pattern Bolt Carbine with Incinerator attachment
-4 reloads (plus 2 extra Incinerator cartridges)

Silver Carapace armour on all locations except head

Silver plasteel faceplate

Appearance:
5'10", Gyr Corvus is little above average height. He wears a black, hooded cloak, concealing his silver carapace armour and red robes. His lower face is obscured by a silver faceplate.

Background:

Born on the world of Halkonia, Gyr was instructed from an early age in the intricacies of the Imperial Creed, growing up in a warrior-temple and dreamed of becoming a priest. These dreams were shatterred, however, when he was conscripted into the Halkonian 17th to fight off an ork invasion. Gyr became well known amoungst the regiment's veterans for his piety, faith, and exceptional skills with a blade (as well as his total lack of shooting accuracy). His mentor was an Inquisitor Druznig of the Ordo Hereticus, who met the young Gyr during the battles with the Orks on Teresk. The Witch Hunter took the pious young soldier on as an apprenctice and honed his fighting skills until Gyr was a masterful swordsman (though Druznig long despaired of making him an even halfway decent marksman.) After Druznig's death at the hands of Lord Skorthius of the Word Bearers Traitor Legion, Gyr vowed to hunt down the traitor Space Marine - Skorthius' accusation that Gyr fled from their duel is unconfirmed. His travels across the galaxy (in vain) brought him to the side of Inquisitor Incendium. Although he joined the Inquisitor's retinue, it took some time for the pair to earn each other's respect, due to Incendium's frequent use of his psychic powers and Gyr's righteous dislike thereof. On Grantis Prime, Gyr finally faced Skorthius in the ruined temple of Saint Kyanna, and defeated his nemesis with the assistance of the Saint's ancient sword, Sunflame. The blade was presented to him by Canoness Katherine before his departure from Grantis Prime.

Edit: Just noticed the new bit about having to have a gun. Ah well.

New Contestant....FIGHT!

Abraham XIX

Abraham is an Arco-Flagellant of the Penitus model. He has been extensively modified, with injectors, dataports, bionic patching, and the like. His arms have totally been replaced with bionic enhancements, as well as his entire skeletal structure being reinforced to withstand his dark purpose. Abraham's skin is mottled and grey, unhealthy from the rigors the Ordo Hereticus have put his body through. Stimm-injectors and monitoring devices cluster upon his back like vile barnacles. He has an exposed steel spinal column running the length of his back, reinforcement upon his frail organic body. He wears a half shroud upon his face. It looks similar to an Executioners mask, leaving his ragged jaw exposed. His teeth are foul and rotten, his mouth damaged beyond belief from the fury he contains. Upon the center of the mask is the =][= logo of the Inquisition. Both eyes stare dead out of the mask from behind glowing ruby bionic eyes. He has an advanced battle computer in his brain, and can be programmed to follow out commands. He only listens to his handlers or the Inquisitor.

Abraham is equipped with modular Bionic arms, available to be swapped out in preparation for a mission. He usually wields twin power claws or twin eviscerators, but has been known to serve as a heavy weapons platform for Heavy Flamers and the like, where he can close and use his terror inducing appearance to be of most use. Abraham's throat has been replaced with a vox-caster, so that his insane howls can strike fear into the hearts of his foe. He also has a target tracker hard wired into his vision, which can cycle through various modes of vision including infrared and ultraviolet.

Age: 24
Sex: Male
Rank: Sanctioned Psyker with similar power to an Alpha (if this is too much I'll downgrade him)
Belief: Imperial Cult

Weapons: Katana, crossbow with 20 bolts, las pistol in holster up left sleeve

Powers: Alexander has great command of electricity, he wraps thousands of volts around his crossbow bolts and can charge or power electrical equipment. Can zap people (like the Emperor in Star Wars) and, if given sufficient time, create large electrical storms (again, if this is too much I'll downgrade him)

Appearance: Wears flowing dark brown robes which look bulky and clumsy but are actually very light, allowing great freedom of movement. Alexander has jet black hair which falls to about shoulder length and it is often tied back. His sword is carried strapped to his back, under his robes.

Downgrade, seriously big time. Only GMs can attempt Alphas okay plus all Alphas would be destroyed, such is their threat ok?

Also, alter the background by like totally as our first mission is not on Thriva ;), it will be somewhere else that leads us there. I am staying quiet about this other mission, so alas, make it a different planet and well, that could work. Incendium rescued you as he destroyed the Colonel ok? As you were the informant.

Drago often thought about pushing him self thorugh a air lock and letting the empoer take his soul. Then he met Incendium knowing that people such as Drago are rare he took him under his wing. Dragos Paraih gene aslo seems to be one of the most active case ever seen. Pyskers that have used powers een on the same ships as Drago have not been able to or worse have had there brains fried. knowign what Drago was cable of Incendium hopes to Train him as a cluxluss (sp?) assassin to join his entoruge

is that okay or what?

Now, its up to Slazton, but as a roleplayer I'd say that nobody will like you. Your Character would be alone. Utterly. If it were that strong, that is. I'd reccomend toning it down to standard Pariah status, considering we have a good selection of Psykers in the Warband.

Bmaxwell
20-07-2005, 14:29
okay mabye your rightIi should tune it down mabye to a range of about 10-20 ft?

what do you guys think?

Grand Warlord
20-07-2005, 15:03
Well, I don't think the pariah field has a large area for it's effects, You would have to ask Commander X our resident Psychic Blank, but I am pretty sure that it only effects the immediate area, if not, well then maybe you should limit it to a small area around him.

I doubt it would effect a whole ship.

Other than that I edited my profile to include some servitors.

(You expect a correct answer from me in my holidays? Tssk, now I have to start thinking. ;))

Although I'm not an expert here, from the relatively few experiences I've had with Pariahs here, I'm lead to believe the Pariah powers are somewhat like sound.

Let me explain the above. It has so far been the case that only those in the same open space as the Pariah have been effected, no difference if it was a small room or a large hangar. This makes me believe the power is reflected by massive objects like sound, and thus has no real 'range', it just gets weaker over distances.

I hope this is any use to anyone.

20-07-2005, 15:31
I don't know much about pariahs (which is why I chose to be a psyker) but I do know that I don't want to have my brain fried every time I use my powers within a few hundred meters of you. Would make any kind of existance very difficult (read: Fatal :skull: ) Maybe say even minor psyker who get within 10 feet of you get massive, mind-splitting headaches and if they try to use their powers it can be fatal or otherwise damaging.
That's my opinion.

Ultimately, wait for Slazton. It's his RPG and it's his call. See what he says.

Woo hoo! Looks like Freya is going to hate and dispies almost everyone yet again....and I've even mellowed her character out a bit.

Well with the possible exception of The Crusadrer.

@ Ant - Would it be possible for Freya to be training with him still....she need to be good with her sword now that her axe as gone. So she needs practise. I know that it's been 5 years or so...but still.
Plus Freya will need someone to talk to from time to time. Nothing serious, just the odd chat every now and again will their sparring or whatever.
'tis nice not to hate everyone

Xavier

I can't wait for it either....I miss playing with Freya. She's my favourite character so far.

Commander X
20-07-2005, 20:21
Yup, evil=good:p

That's what my conversation will mainly be about, to see if Slazton remembered something we talked about earlier considering my alignment. ;)

Freya isn't going to be evil this episode. Though she is in controll of Kera (as am I)....so there's the possibility of evilness. But only to the enemy.

Commander X
20-07-2005, 20:49
But you said you were hating each and everyone of us, that sounded evil. And on top of that,

Slazzy any chance I can be a repenta?

As although technically they are sisters, they arent power armoured, nor part of an order technically and so would be in an inquisitors services etc

One question: How in the Emperor's Left earlobe would a Sister Repenta join an Inquisitor's Warband?

Hmm actually, my brain is starting to think now.

For now no.

Bmax, your Pariah ability will have to be almost minute. As in you give minor headaches to medium psykers and can cause problems with lesser daemons, something that will not be in action in this RPG, on that I swear, or so I hope more likely.

So for now its low and as to the training, stick with that Incendium and his men, plus his other contacts have had you trained as a Stormtrooper, mainly because I need men who can use a gun more than a hand to hand weapon ;).

So if you like you (AND ONLY YOU!), if you take me on my offer, may select one of the following:

Heavy stubber, plasmagun, meltagun, or grenade launcher.

Personally I recomend the heavy stubber, just because ;).

Most characters seem okay and I got really bad news.

For those who have been waiting for me to open this, alas I will not be opening it until Sunday evening at the earliest. I am away for the weekend in Florida at a camping ground, so no net connection. So please bare with me and just relax.

For now, please try not to clutter up this thread as I want to be able to see character posts.

Also anyone alters anything, please tell me!

Shotgun is cool, as it's his close and personal weapon.

Nid
21-07-2005, 06:37
Abraham XIX will be Andrew's personal bodyguard. However, Incendium has authority to command it as well.

I will have the non-combattant Adept Alestaire Cissil as the primary interaction. There will of course be other menials aboard the ship for maintenance of Abraham and the like.

Cissil is a small, skinny, severe looking man. A good term to describe him would be 'mousey.' He wears a dark Administratum robe, with the twinned Admech/Ecclesiarchy symbol on it, indicating his dual allegiance. He is an insufferable sycophant, and most people find him mildly distasteful. He cronies up to those more powerful than him, much like a dog to his master. He has short dark brown hair, and a pencil thin mustache.

The same that was with exchanging Pip and Xhalax. My brain does not function properly past 10PM, and besides Nikki is easier to spell. :p

Oblidion will be up soon, watch this space->

Proctor Oblidion
Rank:Proctor [Squad Leader in Adeptus Arbites]
Belief:Justice will be served, no matter the costs.
Weapons:Metal glove on each hand[CCW's] Staff [Power Weapon+Channeler]
Armour:
-Carapace Armour-All locations
-Black Visioned Helmet
Psychic Powers:"Varied"(I'll get back on that later.)

Appearance: 6'3 dark hair and eyes, all hidden under a black mask that he never takes off, to hide the marks of his failure. The Armour is standard pitch-black, as is the cloak he wears over it.

Background of the past 5 years:
After separating himself from Incendium five years ago, Oblidion went back to his 'normal' life as Arbites and was promoted to Proctor six months later. Then suddenly, his father died due to an officialy 'unknown' cause.

Oblidion used what little spare time he could get to try and find out who had killed his father, following less and less of the rules as time went by. Rumours have it he has been killing off persons, just to get information out of others.

Almost a year later, he had managed to track down the murderer and was about to deal his justice when he found out it was a setup. The things that happened that night will not be spoken of here, but it was certain they changed him forever...

Personality: What some would call psychotic, he will sacrifice just about everything (including other members of the party here) just to make sure justice gets served, and the criminals get sentenced.

21-07-2005, 13:31
Why would their be a single Repentia any way?

I always thought that they'd be a group of them plus a Mistress to keep them in check and drive them forward into battle.

None of which are available in the character choices and would me a pile of extra characters controlled only by you.

Plus as Slaz has said, such a character wouldn't fit into the storyline.

So this is right now? Cool! The two greatest RPGs I am going to be in!

Name - Jaeger
Sex - Male
Age - Unknown
Rank - Veteran Sergeant
Class - Former Armoured Fist Veteran Sergeant, now in service for the Inquisition

Equipment - Three Fragmentation Grenades.
Power Sword that has unlimited power (Slazton, remember what's so special about it, ;)).
An ordinary Power Sword.
Bolt Pistol in thigh-mounted holster.
Two knives hidden in the insides of Jaeger's boots.
Carapace Armour.
Heat Vision Eye Visor.

Appearance - Under the many scars and rough hair, Jaeger used to be blonde, but through the years he's seemed to adapt in the field to getting brown, his stubbly beard sheans as though it's still blonde, but on close inspection, it's not.

History - See Data Files - Inq/5JJQJJ5/Inq, all that's known is that Jaeger has worked with Inquisitor Incendium before.

Grand Warlord
22-07-2005, 13:59

Also, views on abhumans. Not mutants, they're out. Stable abhuman genetics (planning something appropriately Abnettish here).

Xhalax
22-07-2005, 23:08
does that mean its to late for me to claim the interrogator spot?

That should be fine.
After all there's a space for another Interrogator as the one that Slaz has (other than my character) is an NPC.
So bash up a profile for an Interrogator and Slaz will check over it when he gets back on Sunday/Monday.

Is there time to join in?

Yes I believe there is. The RPG won't start til Slazton gets back (Sunday/Monday....probably Monday).
Though have a look at the list of character positions that he wants in the thread, then have a look to see what everyone else is and see what floats your boat.

Post you're profile (if you're joining in) ASAP and Slaz will sort it out if it's fine or not when he returns.

As long as you both don't do anything crazy with your character...there should be any problem.

Recon-Sergeant Natalya Verhofen

Faction: 2nd Vardian Grenadiers Imperial Guard Regiment, currently seconded to the Inquisition.

Genotype: Homo Sapiens Canis.

Height: 6'1" (183 cm)

Gender: Female

Special Abilites:
Heightened Senses, gunfighting, observation, concealment, stealth, technician.

Psychic Powers:
None known.

Armoury:
2x matched Gryphonne IV-pattern Hellpistols
20 standard type-3 energy cells
4 Triplex-pattern 'hot-shot' power packs
Torch
Leather holsters for hellpistols
MkVII Kantrael-pattern 'subduer' chainsword
Kantrael-pattern 'Kasrkin' carapace armour for chest, thighs, shins, knees, groin, abdomen, shoulders, elbows and forearms.
20 metres (67') monofilament rope with a 130 kg weight capacity
Grapnel kit for the above
Small Prometheum gas lighter
12.45" combat knife (I know this comes above the weapon limit, but it's standard issue)
Ankle sheath for the above
24 doses morphiate pain-killer
Combat fatigues in the grey and brown colours of the Vardian 2nd
500ml water flask
3 fragmentation 'frag' grenades
1 fusion-powered demolition charge 'meltabomb'
Specialised Vardia-pattern rebreather mask.
Field dressings pack
Uniform webbing
Augmetic right shoulder and lower leg
Green elastic band for hair.

Background:
Mostly unknown. Verhofen was discovered on Vardia in 999.M41 after the planet (Vardia being in the outer reaches of the Belis Corona sector and well-known for its high abhuman population, most famously the almost unique canis sub-race. Despite high levels of Inquisitorial scrutiny, the canis sub-species has proven to be uncorrupted and faitful, and as such is afforded respect akin to the more famous sub-species seen across the galaxy.

Unlike the brutish Ogryns and the barbaric beast-men subspecies, the canis strain are equal to the base human in intellect, physical abilities and almost incapable of breeding psykers, but their stealthh and concealment abilities are exceptional, as are their observational skills. Canis make excellent scouts, and are famed for their scout units throughout the segmentum obscura.

At the time of her discovery, she was close to death, having taken shrapnel from a traitor Leman Russ Battle Tank's explosion. After being recovered by the 2nd Vardian, she was entruasted into their care, having suffered severe and permanent amnesia. After proving her combat abilities she decided to join the regiment that had recovered her and was placed under the command of sergeant Frank van Helden. At this time, her augmetic leg was refitted to lessen the noise it created, and she applied for the scout program.

By 002.M42 she had made sergeant, and was part of a kill-team seconded to the Inquisition to destroy the rogue psyker Evax Nugar, during which she excellled to the point that she was incorporated into the Inquisitorial staff semi-permanently.

Background tends to come out in-game rather than in character creation, truth be told.

Appearance:
Tall, slim but muscular, Verhofen follows the standard HSCanis build. Her muzzled, fur-covered appearannce confuses many into belief that she is not in fact a base-human genetype, and this has been turned as much to the advantage of the Inquisition as someone who can just blend into a crowd.

Most notable are the scars from the incident that caused her memory loss, vicious scrapes of pale flesh across her upper back and her augmetic leg and shoulder (the latter of which is a tip to my favourite guardsman ever, first to guess wins).

nikolai7
23-07-2005, 19:19
I have been talking to him about my character, but im gonna use this as a way of writing his interrogator background

Name: Azriel Loki
Rank: Interrogator
Ordo: Hereticus

Weapons: Heavily customised Hellgun, bayonette and a Hand and Half Sword

Armour: Matt Black Carapace armour on his chest and the tops of his legs.

Appearence: Azriel is quite tall [6"2] with an athletic but muscular build, has black hair and the pale skin and violet eyes that mark him out as a Cadian. He wears black guard issue fatigues and his Black carapace armour. He lacks the individual flair most inquisitors have mostly due to the fact he hasnt been out of regiment very long, however he has started carrying round a lighter..just in case.

Background: Azriel was born on Cadia and recruited into the military as all
cadians are. He has received storm trooper training and was due to be trained as an officer until he was recruited by the inquisition. He Is new to the staff of Lord Inquisitor Incendium and is very disiplined by nature and although he is still very young he shows great promise and will easily be moulded into a great inquisitor if he lives long enough.

(sorry for the kinda vague background but i came up with it on the spot.. i had to kinda think alot further back than i had when i wrote up his background as a full inquisitor. ill post some more detailed fluff when i finish writing it, but this is everything that needs to be known.feel free to take the **** out of him for being young as he is compared to the other characters and if i can blag it with slaz [subtle hint] he will be a brand new recruit as in not long off cadia)

Tom

In a fit of sorrow and anger got himself drunk to the eyeballs and stole a space marine rhino, while its occupants were off fighting, and took it on a joy ride. Has been on the run ever since.

Since his previous exploits with Incendium Yorah is a more catious man but still as outgoing as ever. He has also honed his sword fighting skills to a fine edge, feeling the need to gain more close combat prowess. Although not as skilled as some, can still hold his own in a fight against better opponants.

Well I can tell you this much Scotty....Five years have passed since the events in the first episode.

And there have been some rather major changes to both Slaz's and my own character. But I think Freya will be kinda glad (though she might not show it) to have some familiar faces around again.

As to what's ultimately in store.....my lips are sealed!

-Bionic Right Arm

At 5’9”, Quaesitor Armaros stands out in few crowds which exactly what made him perfect as Auceps Senioris of the Adeptus Arbites on Culare. His brown eye and brown hair are the norm for humanity and easily overlooking and his skin is a pleasant shade of somewhere-in-the-middle-of-the-human-palette. However, recently he dropped his nondescript look, and has adopted shining silver armour awash with gold sigils and masked a black cloak. His formerly friendly face has now been replaced by a smooth mirrored faceplate that begs the beholder to looks upon their sins. Centered upon the brow is the sigil of the Inquisition, inscribed in gold.

Background:
Born bastard son to Commissar Tobias Sheol when his Cadian 439th Mobile Artillery were stationed to Calthonis IV, Joachim’s early life was spent racing through the corridors of upper hive with his half-brothers. Fortune and a decent man’s belated honesty smiled upon him when at 13 he was summoned to the Schola Progenium by one its robed adepts. His father’s name and fate were revealed to him finally and a place was cemented for him within the infrastructure of the Imperium. The honourable, young Commissar had never been able to admit his transgressions to anyone but the company chaplain, nor marry Joachim’s mother, so in recompense he had made a request that Joachim be take to the Schola upon Tobias’s death as though were his legitimately born son. The Schola accepted it only after Sheol had been killed during the successful siege of Tyrdon’s Gate. The father’s heroism had earned his aimless, illegitimate son a destiny amongst the higher ranks of the Imperium.

During his schola training, his instructors took note of his ingenuity, natural sense of intuition, and abilities to discern and analyse, so that after he was made an Auceps, or detective to use the more vulgar terminology or lower gothic, of the Adeptus Arbites. During his time amongst the arbitrators of the precincts of Thyre, the completion of several important missions, including the discovery of the a Cult of Slaanesh amongst the populace, allowed him to rise through the ranks. At the attainment of the rank of Auceps Senioris, he was requisitioned by one Inquisitor Infernus for an important mission in the lower hives of Thyre. Upon completion of the mission, he was made a member of the inquisitor’s retinue.

The subsequent years have been hard on Joachim, from his capture and brainwashing at the hands of the Eldar, to the loss of a comrade, he’s gone through much in his time. Recently he was made part of the Quaesitors, a now defunct branch of advance agents who work for the Inquisition as scouts to acquire information for the inquisition on subjects of interest to the organisation and liaison with local law enforcement and intelligence. Unfortunately, a council of conservative inquisitors declared the creators of the branch to be heretics and executed several and did there best to dissolve the quaesitors. Lost in the hulking, labrynthine infrastructure of the inquisition, Joachim escaped noticed and was eventually assigned by a more liberal Inquisitor to the retinue of one inquisitor Incendium.

no use blackmailing the GM he can kick you out of the RPG all together

Xhalax
27-07-2005, 02:26
It's because you didn't leave a space between the : and the P in psychic....the code for the smile is a colon and a P

Anyhoo....as far as I know the thread is still open for characters. Although the pariah spot, of which Slazton has stated there is only one of has been taken by Bmaxwell.
However, he hasn't posted yet.

If you wish, you can leave your character profile as is and let Slazton take a look and decide if you can go ahead with him being an Untouchable or not.

Or you can take the slightly quicker and safer option of making your character a bounty hunter (I think they'd be ok for the RPG)

But ultimately it's up to Slazton as he's the Games Master.
But your character doesn't seem to bad (not sure about the strom bolter....but then again it's not my RPG).

Also it's be nice to have a physical description of him and some background to help the rest of us out when the characters interact.

Xhalax
27-07-2005, 03:01
A Pariah is exactly the same as an Untouchable. Just different names for different people.

Once again, the character seems initially fine, though you didn't have to come up with a whole other character (but it's up to you). But as I said, Slazton has to ok them first (though you'll have to choose which you want to use).

When coming up with a character there are some simple steps to follow.
First look at what the GM (Games Master) wants in their thread (a list is provided at the start with numbers of certain types of characters they want)

Next pick a character you like the sound and create them using the following profile (give or take a bit and not necessarily in that order).

Name:
Race:
Age:
Sex:
Rank:
Equipment:
Appearence:
Background:

The trick is to not make your character to complex at the beginning. Keep your character quite simple in terms of what they're like and their background because through the course of the RPG your character will change, adapt and evolve.
If they're too complicated then it'll be harder to adapt.

I find the best way of coming up with a character is to think of a character in 40K that I like...or some aspect of the different people that I like and use them as a template and adapt an already created character.
Then to really make them individual, there's usually some of myself in the characters I create.
I give them some of my own person character traits...usually taken to the extreme.

For example....Freya is Fenrisian because I adore the Space Wolves. And since I can't have a Marine character...I went for the next best thing and took a native and trained her up.
She female....coz I am female and therefore I know how she thinks.
And she's the aggressive side of my personality.
Gave her a hard past to give her an edge and make her kinda bitter but also kinda grateful for being there....as part of her character developement.

Background is something I always enjoy doing for my characters. As it gives them depth and some form of reality as they have a past.
Plus it helps everyone else get a feeling for the other characters before the RPG begins.

And once that's all fine with the GM...then you can RPG your little heart out.

Also....if you haven't already (I've not checked) could you delete your posts on the RPG thread so it doesn't disrupt the flow of the story so far for the others.
Thanks.

That's easily explained: Gyr whacked him so hard with his sword that Angrus was hurled into the warp. Cue Mr Corvus walking off down the corridor, whistling innocently. Sorted

07-08-2005, 20:25
Well you'll have to fight your way across a plent to get to her.

And Slaz will be in charge of Freya while I'm away.

Though I'll try and get a post in when I can...it'll just be no post whoring.

Commander X
07-08-2005, 20:27
Hmm, I could handle the planet travelling(Imagine Oblidion hitch-hiking on a highway), but if Slaz controls Freya when you're away, I'm chanceless to begin with so I won't bother.

And no post-whoring of you? That can't be possible, I'm sure you'll go over to someone else's PC to post there ;)

Xhalax
07-08-2005, 20:30
Well unless I can access the internet with the power of my mind....I'm kinda screwed until I move out. Which will hopefully be this week before I go totally nuts.

Xavier
07-08-2005, 20:32
That sucks nikki, good lucking moving in with boogle

Commander X
07-08-2005, 20:34
Whoa wait a second, am I missing something here? Although I wasn't planning on taking up too much more of your little time left here, care to explain to me what is going on here? At the moment I'm starting to get confused, are you moving house or something

Xhalax
07-08-2005, 20:41
Well this is going way off topic...but yes, I'm planning on moving in with my older sibling (boogle) coz I'm sick of living with my parents.

However, my internet has packed up coz it says that I've ran out of 'flat rate minutes' until the 15-17th August.
This has never happened before and I suspect that this is just a ploy by BT to get everyone onto broadband. So I've got no internet at home now.
No net....no post whoring.

But once I move out (it's this week or never) and get a router in place and download blueyonder oneto my laptop...I'm cooking with gas once again and can resume my post whoring.

However, this is all down to fate and the general level of laziness of my older sibling and his wife to get my room clearer so I can move in. That's why I'm on the net right now, coz I'm over at my soon-to-be new house. Though I'll be off to start purging the house so I can move in and return to post whoring.

If that makes any sense.

Commander X
07-08-2005, 20:47
Yes it does indeed.

Good luck with your moving and my condolences for whatever happened between you and your parents. I will now stop taking up your time, so you can get to purging your soon-to-be-room.

(Remember, you can exterminate everything that bothers you in it if you use enough fire ;))

Xhalax
07-08-2005, 20:53
Thanks!

But as I said, I won't totally disappear between then and now.

Commander X
07-08-2005, 20:59
You're welcome and as I said, I'm sure you'll manage to get yourself a connection somewhere.

Now leave the web, go forth and purgify that room!(Or use said fire to 'convince' your sibling and his wife to do that for you) :p

Wiseman

Slazton

:cries:

Now I know why Xhalax isn't online at the moment.

*sigh*

Well Traitor is about to get real slow as well, she is in a big role at the moment and the plot needs her character.

Damn you BT!

Harlequin'sDance

Not necessarily.

Xhalax
And Slaz will be in charge of Freya while I'm away.

Slazton
08-08-2005, 03:15
Not necessarily.

Its not the same :(

Xhalax
08-08-2005, 03:56
Well things so far are looking a touch on the good side...but there is still time for it to all go hideously wrong.

But hopefully my pissed off attitude right now will keep me determinded to get stuff done.

Commander X
08-08-2005, 09:56
You're not supposed to talk about things that might go wrong you know, and saying it's all going fine is jynxing as well, so stop it will you. ;)

And I'm sure such an attitude will be a great help in getting things done fast(er), you won't be away for too long, I'm counting on that.

(PS Slazton, who is BT?)

Xavier
08-08-2005, 12:59
British telecom, her isp. Or rather former isp.

Xhalax
08-08-2005, 20:56
Yes 'tis British Telecom that supplies this house with internet (although not for much longer)....not Black Templars. Coz to the best of my knowledge, they don't provide online services.

Though I've found a way to cheat the system for now. But I can't stay online for very long just in case.
You've got to love online registration :D

Commander X
08-08-2005, 21:03
Bad Xhalax, bad.*Uses her own squirtthingy against her*

Now how many times do I have to tell you not to waste your time here and go clean that room, so you can be with us 24/7 again? ;)

(And I half expected the answer to be Black Templars, as blaming the minis is always the easiest thing to do.)

Xhalax
08-08-2005, 21:06
The room is tidy...'tis just the rest of the house and time to move in that is pressing. So hopefully this time next week, I'll be post whoring my little heart out.

So there :p

Harlequin'sDance
08-08-2005, 22:23
Woah, holy hell this is moving fast. I go to make a post and there's 7 more that weren't there before it.

Sorry you made the post after I made mine. It took me almost half an hour to mkae it

Harlequin'sDance

Yeah, I went to edit to add a bit more. Then when looked again, there were like 7 more posts, so I split it so people wouldn't miss my edit. It seems to have calmed down a bit though.

Hey Traitors, I am in the unfortunate position of chosing between playing RPGs or passing school. I would happily choose the former but my parents would like me to pass. So I am forced to abandon my favourite passtime. If someone would like to take on Alexander feel free to do so. He is (in my honourable opinion) an excellent character and it would be a shame to see him fade away into nothingness. If no one wants him, Slaz could please have him die doing something useful? Hopefully I will be able to get back into playing when I finish school (december).

Inquisitor Mikarovic
21-08-2005, 16:36
G'day all, just Mika here to give a breif rundown on my namesake, along with a picture of his spear, a picture of him done by Leviathan, and a poo picture done a while ago by me. I've even given a pronunciation key for his all-too-pesky name. :p

Name: Ivanis Petarin Mikarovic (ee-VAH-niss peh-TAH-rin mik-AH-roh-vik)
Rank: Inquisitor Lord, High Protector of the Australis Sector.
Belief: Amalathian
Weapons: Nemesis Force Spear known as “Pilum Angela”, or Angel Spear. He also has a baroque Psypistol and a deck of razor sharp steel tarot cards hidden about his person.
Armour: No evident armour.

Background: What basics are known about Mikarovic point to a rather powerful player in the Inqusition and the Imperium at large. His political strength, achieved through official rank and ties of trust with the right people, is about as high as his supposed physical and psychic might. Though for all his infamy of political and combative supremacy, his actions are rarely noticed by the mass majority. It takes a keen eye indeed to spot his peaceful influence and he rarely attends the battlefield. Records tell of a bloodthirsty warrior bearing Mikarovic’s name, but he seems to have died and receded to the shadows of the Galaxy.

The rest you’ll just have to find out…

Appearance: Usually tall at 6’5” with a strong, statuesque physique. His hair is a dull brown, combed straight back over his head, with some aqua strands appearing near the front. Right eye is turquoise, left eye is grey. Youthful looks that make him seem about 25 years old. Wears a black, ornate longcoat, lined with dire, golden writing, then a line of purple, then a line of turquoise. 33 silver Inquisitorial emblems adorn the coat as cufflinks, buttons or decoration, one emblem for each year before becoming an Inquisitor.

Personality: Usually quite blasé; nonchalant and laid back, but at times his bipolar behavior shows well and truly through. From manic highs to sadistic lows, his actions vary tremendously. He frequently uses overly sophisticated speech and is quite dynamic in his body language. He habitually wears the tiniest of enigmatic smiles, as if he knows something everyone else doesn’t.

Harlequin'sDance
21-08-2005, 18:53
I have to say that that smile is neither tiny nor enigmatic. :p

Slazton
21-08-2005, 19:35
I like the one Leviathan drew, its a great picture and deserves to be saved to my hard drive ;)

Commander X

*Pokes Slazton*

Any possibility of Oblidion leaving the brig soon? He's getting a bit bored in there ;)

Wiseman
24-08-2005, 08:36
nope stay there

Commander X
24-08-2005, 09:59
You think so?

Ah well, as birthday present Oblidion was going to forgive Freya anyway  (Mainly because even I forgot why he didn't like her.) so he needs a new 'criminal' to hunt. I guess your Rougue Trader Sol just volunteerd

Wiseman
24-08-2005, 13:18
Sol has dragon and Andrew at his side, plus 2 entire Fleets at his command, soon to be a third. I say bring it, Sol might not be the most mentally stable person around, but he definately holds more power then most.

Xhalax
24-08-2005, 14:30
Plus guilt has Freya kinda in Sol's pocket too.

Commander X
24-08-2005, 15:21
*Coughs politely*

One 40K equivalent of a phone-call, and your fleet isn't yours anymore

And don't forget Cyro, after the completion of this part of my grand scheme, he'll own me big time...

*Gloats*

Xhalax
24-08-2005, 15:26
Yes well.....things could turn out interesting and Freya could be twisting Cyro around her little finger.

So she'd own you too!

Commander X
24-08-2005, 15:30
Being owned by a woman isn't neccesarily a bad thing you know :p

But mark my words, that'll only happen if Slazton intentionally screws up my scheme(Which is likely, but I'm not telling you that ;))

Wiseman
24-08-2005, 15:39
i own my two fleets, Andrew and Sol are best friends, working together, whatever i need, i have inquisitorial clearance, Incendium still owes Sol for the first act. Freya feels guilty for what she did to Sol, Meracus and Sol are now friends, now thats four Inquisitors(well 3 and an interogator, until Freya gets promoted) So even if you did wrap cyro around your finger(who is wrapped around freya, ergo mine) i still own you :D. Face it n00b you have nothing on Callick Sol and his fleet:D

Xhalax
24-08-2005, 15:50
But Freya has had her brains almost turned into jelly....so she might not be as together as she once was.

So she might have forgotten what happened.

Thane McHammer
27-08-2005, 12:04
Alrighty...time for a character bio...sorry to all who were miffed at my first posts, I was rude...time to do things proper. Slazton has asked me to put this here, so..here it is.

Name: Thane McHammer (Evidently, not his given name)

Rank: Former Magos of Mars, he's now a rogue tech-priest, more akin to a Rogue Trader. He deals in information, protection services, some smuggling, and Arco-tech recovery.

Age: 392

Weapons: Twin pistols. One is an ancient plasma pistol, the other, a mastercrafter bolt pistol. He prefers not to fight, but is an expert marksman and gunfighter.

Armor: Agumented carpace armor, including extensive bionics. Includes built-in targeting and scanner systems, and a refractor field generator. Over this, he wears his old Magos robes.

Other equipment: Mechandrites, servitors of different types, cigars.

Appearance: At a tall 6'2, McHammer isn't a pushover. Both his eyes have been replaced with bionic ones, and over these he wears a pair of rounded, red-tinted goggles. Both his hands, left leg, and the majority of his internal organs are bionic. He has an square-jawed appearance that might have once been called handsome, but is now criss-crossed with thin scars. Servo-links are implanted in the back of his neck, though his full brown hair covers most of them. An implanted comm-link can be seen behind his ear. He's often seen with a lit cigar in his mouth.

Background: Thane McHammer has been a troublemaker from the beginning. Born on Mars, to a family of workers, he was inducted into the Priesthood after a stunning display of making machines work, without having to go though all the rituals. This was shown after he successfully booted up a plasma reactor in twenty minuets, as opposed to the usual 2 hours of chanting, ritual application of balms and oils, and prayer. Pragmatic and rational, he's also prone to sarcasm, but can be grim on occasion. Rising to the rank of Magos, he left the Prieshood and struck out on his own, after making a rather vocal and personal insult towards a High Priest. Since then, he's gone from place to place, gathering what he needs, and then moving on. He has had dealings with Incenduim before, supplying information, equipment, and his personal services. Currently, he is looking for ancient arch-tech, and he's looking for Incendium to help him with it....

Personallity: Unlike his more aloof and arrogant ex-bretheren, McHammer actually has a human personality. His motto is "Seek out knowledge, and use it. Don't seek out knowledge, and let it use you". As such, he has no regard for the overbearing rituals of the priesthood, and is more inclined simply to push the "ON" button if he wants to start something, than light inscence and pray it works. Polite and curteous, he is sociable, wily when needed, perfect gentleman when the occasion calls. He prefers not to fight, instead leaving that to his servitor bodyguards. Brains, not brawn, are McHammers gift.

His ship: The Mechancus is a creation of McHammer's. It resembles a massive Thunderhawk, though it is more of a cruiser than a landing craft. With warp-travel capabilities, as well as being outfitted with powerful weapons and shields, the Mechancus is a work of art. It has fully operational docking stations, medi-stations, mess and training halls, a forge workshop, armoury, and a working, though ancient, teleportation system. The entire crew are servitors, either full or partial. It is well equipped for the recovery of artefacts, cargo, or passengers, and more than once has been forced to make tricky escapes from Chaos fleets, Imperial blockades, and Eldar Maiden Worlds.

OoC/Right I am going on a magical journey back to the United Kingdom. I am entering internet blackout as I am moving into a new home and will need to get internet set up etc. So please bare with me ok?

I will PM everyone who is playing so as to remind them that I am back ok? Also, I will be furthering this from the point where we have defeated the immediate defenders and will be heading to the bridge. Now if you want to post or reply, please do so in the Recruitment thread ok?/OoC

This is the main thread ok? However I am posting it here as to get you minions to hear me twice.

I apologise once more, but well, I got to go back to Uni. However, I will not kill the RPG (Xhalax and Grand Warlord would kill me if I did), but I am placing it on pause.

If you decide to drop, please say so, but well.........Hang on ok?

I am moving in with an internet junkie so I doubt I will be without it long lol.

God damn much has happened. Just posting from a mates comp so for those who miss Angrus (very few I can imagine:D) you're gonna have to wait some more.:p Just thought I'd say Hi to Slaz Xhalax and all you others. A more constructive part of the post would be me begging Slazton not to forget his favourite untouchable. Untill I return...

Xhalax
08-09-2005, 02:25
HEY...you've returned!

Will we be seeing Angrus back again? I sure Freya wouldn't mind too much....as long as he keeps his distance.

And the thought that Slaz mayhave requested the thread to be locked has crossed my mind...i hope that's what's happend and that they can open it again rather than start a new thread for it.

Commander X
08-09-2005, 14:18
A small hint to all of you:

The starter of a thread can close, re-open, and re-close it at any moment he feels like it. So I suspect Slaz did it himself to protect the story from us ;)

And welcome back Angrus/M@l@l/I.Darc.
