While I was searching the GW online shop for bits to purchase I have found models for Epic 40,000.

Vultures and Valkyries in metal, not resin. I know the FW flyers are a bit bigger than GW equivalents but has anyone ever thought about using those from GW? They are cheap !!

Epic Vulture from GW (http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=Individual&code=99060305035&orignav=300808)

Valkyries from GW (http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=Individual&code=99060305027&orignav=300808)

Plus, there is also a Thunderhawk out of metal.
I build Phantine's AirCorps in 40k and of course I will need them in Aeronautica, too. I will need large numbers of above mentioned models, so help me to find out whats there size please!

There's a size comparison on Spacker's site: http://www.ageofstrife.com/modules.php?set_albumName=Spack104&id=IMG_2352&op=modload&name=Gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php

Clear flying bases are roughly 3 cm in diameter - I leave the math to you :D

Well CENOBITE,

I would say PERFECTLY FITTING. Whats your meaning to this?

Danke! Thanks for the link

By the way: forgeworld and gw seem to share design in this case, too.

Gern geschehen ;)

I'd say the GW Vultures/Valkyries are fine to mix with a FW fighter/bomber force. I own some GW thunderbolts and they are just way to small for my taste.

Personally I'd hate to have the GW models and the FW in the same airforce - the GW models are just way too small. It's really obvious from that pic on my site (thanks for linking to it Cenobite), next time I'm down the local club I'll get some more pics with my FW squadrons on table with the GW models (most of the other players are sticking with the GW models till the end of Feb when they're clubbing together to put a large order in)
