So, I finally got a digital camera and I have begun snaping off photos. Not long ago I started a Death Guard army and I figure that it will be a long project so the proper place for it would be here.
First off, here is my work station.

Alright, now on to the good stuff.
All of my Plauge Marines have been built out of plastic Chaos Space Marines and converted with green stuff and random bits from the Zombie Regiment box and some Tyranid and Necron bits.
Here are some images of my first two painted Plauge Marines and one that is primed.

Here is my Death Guard Demon Prince.
He is very WIP at the moment.
He is converted from the necron Night Bringer, with Belakors wings on his back and a piece of the Chaos Demon Prince back pack clipped off for the face.

Thats all for now, hope you like it so far.

Nice bitz diving for those conversions, looking very solid. The prince is a great start too, and really good use of the backpack piece! Unique painting on the eyes, I like a lot, and the flayed one claw is a nice touch. Only thing I can add is please drill those bolters!

I'm stuck on what I should do with the Demon Princes arms. I want to give it a scythe, but I'm not sure how to go about doind it at the moment. Suggestions?

Boss_Salvage

At the simplest: use Nightbringer's scythe arm, replacing the blade with something more Nurglesque - tyranid scytal, typhus' scythe, zombie scythe, etc.

That is a good idea, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to use so much of the original Nightbringer model. I'll giv it a shot and snap a pic.

Questions and comments welcome.

Great DG project, looking forward to see more cool convertions!

Oh, and making that defiler look like a big bloated spider (but with 6 legs, heresy I know) gone horribly wrong would be nice to see, just a idea I got while looking around in here. You clearly got the GS skills and conversion madness to do it ^^

those are some of the best Plague Bearer models I've yet seen. Excellent work!

Hmmmm...I like that idea. Maybe a combination of a spider and a beetle...like a Tanker Bug from Starship Troopers...only with a massive cannon sticking out of it and lots of rotten and rusty components.
*scratches chin while imagining Tanker Bugs unleashing hell on the poor Mobile Infantry*

those are some of the best Plague Bearer models I've yet seen. Excellent work!
Thank you! I never expected a comment like that. They arent even done yet. :D

Flawless GS work! Rarely do you see anything that smooth and integrated. Great work all around - the Plague Bearers are already amazing, and I'm sure they'll be better when you're done.

One suggestion - sculpt a bit of a rotten belly onto the Daemon Prince. As it is, his abdominals attract a lot of non-nurgly attention. Definitely don't overdo it, as it's looking really good right now, but just add enough bloat to remind people that this is a Prince of Nurgle they're dealing with.

I'll definitely be watching this intently.

Great 'bearers, and I'm a big fan of chaos dreads with 'fex crushing claws. Looking forward to more madness!

Love it! I've never seen anyone convert Plague Bearers before... yours are an insperation. I also really like the bug-eyes on the Typhus Model.

Love the guy with the cyclop-eye and the battledammage on the dread. Other things are also great.

Oh wow, I have posted any updates for a long time!
Thanks for the compliments everyone. I will be doing more work on this little project soon, just dealing with school and work right now.

It's time to Pheonix Down this project log.
Thanks to massive quantities of homework I have been unable to achive much of anything in terms of my Death Guard army these last few weeks.
Not much can be said of what I have done, but I will show you all what I have been able to achieve with my limited time.
First off I have my WIP Chosen with Reaper Autocannon. He is in the painting process now, but I have no idea when I will finish him.
http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n77/Leminy_Fresch/WIPDGC1.jpg
Next I have a second WIP Chosen with a combi bolter and power weapon.
http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n77/Leminy_Fresch/WIPDGC3.jpg
Finally I have my heavily greenstuffed WIP Death Guard Lod. I am trying to cover every bit of him in green stuff to make him as unique as possible.

Sorry about the extreme flash...I need to turn that thing off.
Hope you all like what I have provided!

The face on the lord reminds me of BPRD/Hellboy demons actually, which is a good thing. Nice green work in general, await more madness on the lord

Great work! I wish I could GS like that. As to the DP suggestion from Pekel, I actually like the thin, gaunt look for him. My suggestion would be to GS some small boil patches (ver discrete) and drill out a few spots on his stomach to GS some small patches of hanging skin or small loop of intestine.

The only other suggestion that I have would be to put a little gloss over the infectious parts of the models to give them the slimy nurgle look.
