This is a list I've made for a local tournament coming up in 10 weeks time.
Any comments or criticism on the army?

Anything I should cut down on?

Drop the second noble to buff up your Corsairs. I'd even be tempted to drop your Executioners to make sure you have 2 blocks of 18 Corsairs (and even that is light when it comes to CR), and add another unit of Dark Riders, with or without crossbows. Maybe drop a unit of crossbowmen on foot to allow for the points, if you are otherwise short.
The banner on a unit of 10 is probably a waste of points, they cannot win combat even with it. Now, on a screened unit of 24, it would be real nice, but that's a huge chunk of points.

Realistically, your magic is going to win you the game, and your troops are there to prevent you from losing it. Thus, you need marchblockers (2 units of Dark Riders), something to deal with artillery (RBT and Harpies), and the chariots are a nice hard-hitting touch to deal with whatever breaks through. Add a block of infantry to hide your caster(s) in, and you're halfway there.

Would it be worth dropping the second noble to free up space for a third magic user? Or will two be enough?

Also, I have noticed that by dropping the execs for more corsairs I would be able to split the shades. Should I do so?

My view on magic is you either have loads of it (8 levels) or noe (1 level dispel scroll caddie)

Give your level 4 catser the Soul Stone as miscasts can be very dangerous, more so if you can casting big spells.

One last thing Dark Magic is real power but lacks range so if you play deffensively you will find that by the time you can use all your spells effectivly your opponant just uses disspell scrolls befor he assualts you. So maybe take one or two laws of death. Take at least one lore of shadow if you play offensively.
