The bells on the chains dont look right, theres no movement to them in keeping with the obvious motion of the rest of the body. Otherwise its an intersting and characterful conversion.

That is cool. You might want to adjust the swingy bit of the bell to make it look like it is moving. I would also green stuff the those swingy bits too look like warp stone crystals.

Looking wonderful! I agree with the others that some of the bells need more movement, but it's really great work there!

The skirt is made of the skin of a large animal.

Also I agree with the bells in motion I will fix that asap .

I was a little doubtful of bell hands but i figured hey skaven would totally do something like that so why not.

thanks for the comments! and I will get good pics up when he is done and painted.

I like the bell hands. They're skaven-y, they're more interesting than the rat-ogre blade-hands, and they look like they'd cause alot of damage.

While I think the conversion is great in general and I actually like the bell hands, I think the hanging bells are not so great. Or the larger ones from his arms and ... mouth? anyway, as those just seem out of scale and a little silly. Perhaps some movement in the chain would help that, but I'm just not a big fan right now.

The smaller bells from his horns though are totally doable.

That is one very creepy looking giant, Skitter-Squeek. The conversion work looks pretty good though, I especially like the idea of the bells replacing his hands.

Wierd. I suppose the bells mean something to skaven lovers, but to me, it's just a bit odd. I didn't even know Skaven had giants.

I had doubts about the other bells, but they look wonderfull by now!

probably the most Skaven giant, modelling-wise, that I've seen thus far!

Thank you all for the comments... I am going to shade a little more on him and then he is officialy done. And yes Bells really are important to the skaven it has a deep symbolic meaning to them!

Splendid vision and solid execution.

All the great giant conversions kicking around almost make me want to have a bash myself...almost.

Well A quick little story.... A human city was trying to build a great tower that reached to the clouds and they could not finish it... A mysterious figure approached and claimed he could finish it in one night and all that he asked in return was to put a homage to his god on the tower as well, the humans agreed and the man went to work... the next morning the tower was done but at the top was a giant bell. It then rang 13 times.........

I will go no further into the story if you want the awsome story check out the last edition rule book for the skaven awsome stories in there... also only reason I did not go on or go into more detail is I think it might be against rules for me to tell of stories in a rulebook... if this is not the case someone let me know and I will be happy to share the story with you!

I see bells(as a Skaven player) the same way Empire see Sigmar's Hammer. Its a symbol, but a powerful symbol(specially when you roll a 13!).
There is mroe to it if you read the books, but i see them as representations of Skaven's might and power.

And keeping to the bell talk, where did you get those bells? Especialyl the one around his neck?
I've been looking around for a cheap bell just like that. I don't want to have to buy the skaven one, as I want to convert too.
I think the bels are great. I was wondering if you found a way to make them swing more? Possibly coat chain in superglue, then hold in place till it dries. I don't see how pinning could work.

Definitely some Skaven symbols in Red Gore would set this model right off.
Your skin highlighting is vewwy vewwy good, although I think the green stuff needs a little smoothening out.

The bells and chains I got from Michaels or hobby lobby in the jewlery section... very cheap... and yes just dot of super glue on each chain and it solidifies in place :p

thanks again for all your comments... oh and be watching my other article for my Warplightning cannon wich shall be done soon .
