My HellBlades finally arrived this week and i've been playing with some colour schemes to decide how i want to paint them, Two Nurgle, Two Slaanesh and two CSM chapters, Iron warriors and Alpha legion. Im not sure which one i like the best, possibly one of the nurgle ones?

Any Crit is welcomed

You know, I reckon that the iron warriors ones would look great. The alpha legion one would also look very nice on the model. The others I'm not so sure, the greenish nurgle one could look great if the final product is weathered and rusted.

Go alpha legion, but the slaanesh ones look horrible imo

Yep thats a great idea, It would be nice to do some Nurgle(y) modifications to the craft. But im finding the models really fragile. Im worried the Iron warriors design doesn't look chaotic enough, but i wanted to use colours that were not stereotypically "Dark" and "Evil".

Sry for the double post. Here is a Black legion scheme and some Tzeentch like Camoflage schemes for your consideration..

I use Potatoe-shop (Photoshop) As its easy to do multiple levels on a picture. If you have PS im sure you understand how to do this. If not there are many web sites that can tell you how. The Template has been scanned from the rule book, I also have the HellTalon scan. If it is not against Warseer forum policy I could post them up. Although perhaps im am running the risk of a "Mighty Forge-World Slap !" Perhaps it might be better if you PM me ?

Thanks for all your comments, I do like the Iron warriors colour scheme. Its very "Tie Fighter", It just needs a little tweak to make it more Chaotic IMO. Il keep posting my ideas and I might start a Project log for anyone interested in using the scheme?

I really like the blue grey Tzeentch scheme - something like the Soviet air superiority scheme.

The first Nurgle scheme, the IW scheme and the top right Tzeentch scheme have to be my favourite.

And for the love of all that's holy don't do the Slaanesh ones.

OT: Nice to see someone else from Shropshire on here.

They are looking better than the first two (though on general principle 'Booo, Slaanesh, Boooo). I prefer the first one of the two. I do so love Hellblades, I really do have to get some.

My slaanesh were going to be skin across the control surfaces and gold edging.

Just thinking, if it is going to be Slaanesh rather than Emperor's Children then you could try drawing inspiration from things like the Daemonette colour schemes. You could have royal blues and whites with silver and gold detailing perhaps?
