Some really cool ideas that you have there.

Some insane ideas you have here, Warwolt. I like the spider chariot the best, and the nasty big shiled on the boss is a good'un too. Are some of those orcs up on each others' shoulders? Madness!

I really like the orc test scheme, orange looks very good with the dark dark skin.

Love that paint scheme you're putting together on the night goblins, any chance of some close-ups?

Nope, they´ll gurgle in black paint. I will repaint them, in a slightly different scheme. The robes will go a tad bit darker, kinda begie instead of pure white. I will still have the daggs tough, so expect close ups soonish but COOLISH :)

Wuzzawizguf might be a long and slurry name, but it was his name nonetheless. His whole name was “Wuzzawizgufrak the skelletfingstompa”, but it was seldom used. But when he was in mood for using his more royal term of address, he often used “Warboss Wuzzawizgufrak the skelletfingstompa and rula’ uv da Gorky and Morky deserts and da seaz arund it”. But he was mostly called Boss or Wuz‘Frak, and Wuzzawizguf didn’t mind as it spared him time to when talking about himself. And of some reason he did that a lot. Some say he’s shouting all those curses to the snotlings bugging him inside his thick layers of armour. Some says he’s gone made by the heat, and some just says his a prophet of Gork Wuz’Frak liked the idea of being a prophet of Gork, so he quickly gathered a Waaagh!Wuzzawizgufrak and started his Kroozade over da sandy desert. He led many battles against the Nehekarians and Arabians, covering more and more mountains under the rule of him. His tribe, the Blazing Sun tribe, believes that the sun is in fact the god Gork, some orcs argue Mork, and that he (be it Gork, be it Mork) burns the desert with his furious Stompyness and burns of the flesh of anyone that isn’t green. That is the shamans of the Blazing Sun tribes explanation to why the Oomies in the stone cities don’t have any flesh left on their bodies. But as a strange side effect, instead of being rotten away by the Stompyness of their god the orcs skin have achieved a sort of golden-brownish tone due to the heat. They also have a habit of using orange war-paint over their faces and on their choppas and arms, in belief that this will grant them the fortune of their god.

made a few linesof fluff, still got some work to do :)

added some paint on the ranks =D Including freehand! o_O
ive started to tone down the orange with some washes. So its not as ZZOM anymore, but still strong and orange.

My Blorc is getting painted too. Im not too, happy with him. Tried to make it look like he had got alot of blood splatted on him. But red paint doesn't look like blood. Anyone dare help me get the mix right?

22-03-2007, 15:30
I think the red paint kinda gets confused with all the orange splashed on other orcs in the army. Maybe just clean it up and do some orange-y goodness on the boss too, to match the boys? Otherwise, I'll let someone else help with the blood recipe, I have the same problem with it as you :(

Also, I hadn't realized how bent his sword is, any chance you could break it off, fix the join and attach it back more straight and killy? Or if you like it swept back like that and kinda weird, more power to you :D

For blood I like to mix dark flesh in with blood red, a touch of gloss and plenty of water to create a wash. It's a simple and effective technique and looks better on metallics than bright reds do.

Click here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Hywel/Slaanesh/min1.jpg) to see it on a weapon. Here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Hywel/Slaanesh/min3.jpg) for some more varied application.

The army's coming along nicely and I love that mentalist drummer! :p
