Hi everyone. just a quick question.

Where are the Kill Team rules to be found? I have the BFM rulebook and they aren;t in there and i was wondering where they are. GW site or somewhere completely different.

Thanks :)

Are they not in the hardback 40k rulebook?

I wouldn't know, I don't have the hardback.

I am 99% sure that is where the rules are and more besides, tips on modelling and setting up different types of kill-team games. I remember being impressed when I first read them, but then again, I don't play many games of 40k.

Curses, nowhere else?

My friend that I'm playing against this Friday has the third ed. book (no idea why he hasn't got the new one yet), ahave they changed much between them?

IIRC they weren't in the 3rd edition rulebook.

- Significantly, especially in the case of Kill-Team. 4th ed has been out for almost 3 years now...

IIRC they weren't in the 3rd edition rulebook.

- Exactly.

Kill Team was originally published in WD a year or so before the BGB came out, thought I don't recall the exact issues #'s.

Hang on, I'll search the GW site and see if it's there.

Thanks for the answers so far people.

Oh, before I go, would you say the kill team rules are worth downloading?

Yes, I haven't played much but I enjoyed Kill Team a great deal

I looked on both the US and UK sites and didn't find the rules.

Kill Team is a great deal of fun from both a modeling and a gaming point of view.

- They're worth it as a side game. It's much quicker - and somewhat easier - than Necromunda. It's kinda like a half step between. I don't like it too much though - I perfer the core game.

It is a great way to play with a different race you don't have an army for. Just buy a few models here and there, spend the weekend modelling and painting, and there you go... You can do all kinds of obscure stuff.
