Just a quick List I came up with

1 Scar Vet to a saurus unit. Set up with a saurus unit on either side and stegadon in the middle. Lord uses charm to help out inc omabts that need him for an extra punch.

Or alternatively I could drop a skink and the 2 champs to give Quetzl marks to the scar vets as well.

List has a plenty of close combat power, but the thing I would be concerned of would be magic. Five dispel dices are just not enough these days, unless of course you only play in an enviroment that has an anti-magic attitude. Perhaps you could consider either trading one of the scar-veterans to a skink priest with two scroll or reduce the number of sauruses to 16 and remove one tepok. Not only would you get two scroll for those times that the opponent throws extremely well on the casting dice or you just do not afford to let the spell through, but you also get one power dice meaning that you can dispel a remains in play spell with three dice on your own turn. Or you can just use two of those dice to A second sign of amul...
