View Full Version : Padz Painting Thread

I have just rejoined the hobby and been buying all sorts of random models to paint from ebay.
So here i will post some photo's of my models as i am doing them. If anyone has any idea how to take good pics with an average 6mpixel digicam i would appreciate as my pics are a little blurry.
A lot of models on here i will be selling on ebay after they are painted if anyone is interested.

Here is my work in progress Eldar Avatar. Hopefully it will be finished tomorrow. Sorry about the poor quality but my camera work is cack

ok Its not quite finished but thats it for now. I'm waiting for my delivery of modelling stuff so i can base the model. I also need to do a pattern on the skirt but i need some practice first.
Overall i'm quite pleased as its the first model i've painted in nearly 4 years.

So here's some photo's of my current wip.
I'm still awaiting delivery of my paints and stuff so i cant do too much more on aenur, I'm not sure what color to do his sword so if anyone has any suggestions i would be grateful.

For the sword I probaly would say to stay with silver but If your thinking more of a power weapon sorta thing Maybe a dark purple going to magenta?

Yeah go ahead. I just found the paint scheme myself by searching google.

I just got my delivery of all my above mentioned models :D just need to do a bit of stripping of old paint then choose what to work on. I'll probaly start with my dwarf doom seekers.

Padz, get yourself a Photobucket site, stuff this good should be seen in its glory not thumbnails! Brilliant work so far!

11-04-2007, 21:29
Thanks. How do i get a photo bucket site though? Does it cost?

11-04-2007, 21:32
just go to www.photobucket.com and it's free, you can then link the actual pic in the body of the text using the insert image button
