ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! no seriously he looks great. there is nothing wrong wrong with using strong contrasting colors, from a visual standpoint, it looks very striking and balanced. good luck

Thx guys for the comments so far. Oh and the colors aren't supose to be the colors of christmas(tho its a common mistake people make when they see this army and i haven't explained a little something to them) the colors are based on my favorite comadey tv show called"the Red Green show."This links will help get the jist of it:
These are the best i could find and should do just fine to explain stuff better than i can.

Any way here is a the list of things to do, paint, buy, and repaint.
To repaint
lord on sheild
dragon slayer
20 longbeards
20 warriors with sheilds
17 warriors withgreat weapons
2 14 strong units of thunderers
a bunch of slayers(forgot how many i have)
13 miners
5 war machine crews and an engineer
3 ironbreakers
ranger vet.

Things to paint
16 hammerers
1 runelord
Avatars of war Dwarf hero(when ever it gets here)

Things to buy
4 more hammerers
17 ironbreakers
3 warriors with great weapons
the skull pass dwarfs
7 metal miners
a grudge thrower
4 engineers
1 master engineer
old all armoured dwarf lord
new dwarf lord with great weapon and holding his helmet

Things to build
Plane gyrocopter
Custom anvil of doom
Dwarf king Red Green(my version of thorgrim)

Well got a lot to do, and it kind of doesn't help that next month i'm going to Germany for two weeks(but it'l be tuns of fun nun the less).

Q and C are welcome

I liked the way you shaded your green at the model's front (in the first pic). It looks very natural. Keep on posting! :)

Thx, i like it to.

Anyway, yesterday i stripped a bunch of my stuff my guys and today basecoated my the warriors (90% basecoated), cannon, and organ Gun. All i'm waiting for is to go and buy glaze medium and retarder which will be probably at the end of the weak.

What a great color scheme. My only advice at this point would be to bring the green up at least one more highlight to really eccentuate those dwarfs.

Great start, can't wait to see some units popping up.
