In the hopes of getting a comment or two I'll elaborate a bit.
I've never played my dwarfs at 2k and have never faced Tomb Kings before, so I'm not sure if what I have in mind is going to work.
Mainly I thought having some flame attacks would be good, and the Slayer to guard the warmachines.
I didn't want the army to be too shooty, as my opponent tends to complain about that a lot. It's probably too shooty as it is for him.

And I realized that having 8 points left over is stupid. Looks like adding a Rune of Stone to the Engineer is in order.

To be honest, I just had a quick glance at the Tomb Kings' armybook and I'm not sure I understood how their magic works.
The way I read it there isn't a way for me to stop it anyway, so I didn't bother to put a Runesmith on my list.

well they get casting dice like any other army but there spells have no to cast limit so you can cast them on one dice you wont be able to dispell the lot but a rune smith would help a little

Don't see the point in the runes on the dragon slayer, vs TK he might actually be striking first anyway and for 50pts for +1 attack seems a bit much.

Get that engineer a great weapon!

Flame cannon ain't too great, you pay a lot of points for the panic which means nothings vs TK. Organ might be a better choice. Everyone loves the organ gun.

Dunno how many chariots you'll be facing but buying penetration may well be worth it, especially on the one with immolation (increases the strength of the explosion as well).

A lot of points in those miners. Do you plan to march over to his side or what? If not a smaller unit with the steamdrill and nout else might be fun just for pissing off the SScatapaults and archers.
