These are currently en route to grave_digger, via the Royal Mail and the US Postal Service. Just thought I'd show 'em off to the rest of you...! The Marauders are shown below (fighters in the next post).

Very nice steiner - I like the underside being lighter than the top, and the yellow is really clear.

better than my Grey & Black planes.

Very nice. I like the way the dark green camo is offset by the light gray underside.

I should note that the Destroyer's underbelly is camo green, as it's operating at low-levels. :)

Nicely done... I think the belt in the first pic fits well... for some reason.

Heh, that's a '58 pattern web belt (with the webbing pouches, bag, and yolk out of shot) from my cadet days... didn't want it in shot, but it is rather military. ;)

They look really cool.

Your camo does look like the camo used by the Italians in WW2.

Looks good. My only complaint is that the numbers (and the JK/JM) on the bombers are too large. If I'm not mistaken, they look like they've been written with a small pen rather than painted on. I'd try to paint it on with a smaller size. It doesn't have to be so big that the enemy flak turrets are able to read it :)

The camo on the Destroyer is 'inspired by' the German splinter-cam used on the upper surfaces of their aircraft in WWII - the lo-vis greys on the fighters are very modern (French/Israeli style) while the Marauder bombers are in Republican Spanish colours (minus the red/yellow/purple tailplane). Glad you like 'em.

You're mistaken. :p I painted on all the details, and the numbers are deliberately bloody huge - this is the Imperium, damnit! You'll note, however, that the numbers on the side of the Destroyer are painted very small and in black, so they're hard to see. Conversely, the LF-201 on the upper wing surfaces of the Destroyer is in lo-vis grey and large so that any friendlies will - in theory - spot it and not shoot it down.

and at any rate they're already en route so can't be altered...

Ah, a satisified customer! :D I'm looking forwards to doing the next batch. :)
