Howdy folks. A renessaince in BFG at the local GW store prompted me to pick up the Armada book. Therefore, I've had a gander at the rules for the Endeavor class light cruiser and its variants. I'm at least mildly interested in giving them a try, but I can't find any online. Did GW ever put out a model for this class? Or would I have to scratch-build?

I'm making a hull for all three at the moment. I'm about 1/3 of the way through it. I was going to post some pics when I'd made more progress, though I might take a few snaps and post them up sooner. There are a few details I'm undecided about.

Only a few models were made. The mould didn't work out, and eventually broke for some reason.

I heard Forgeworld were going to try to make resin ones, but that was 3-4 years ago, and there's no sign of them yet.

Yeah, there was also much speculation about battlefleet mars prows being done by forgeworld.

Anyway, here's a nice websites:

Not mine, but a poster on portmaw.com. It's a nice article, but looks a little too hard for me to do. Should serve to get those juices flowing...

Over at the www.tacticalwargames.net forum you can find more info on Voss prows. Lot of people make them in Resin.

FW never planned doing them. SG neither again.

I've built my own, way back in 2002. It was a one-off model. However, I made a casting mould for the Voss-prow which I use for conversions. I plan- amongst other projects- to build a modular hull for all three variants. But that's when I find the time for it*sighs*.

That's an extremely nice scratchbuild! How did you go about making the prow? I've seen other attempts, but this is by far the best one I've seen.
