Hello all..
Having just played my first game with my sky host I have to raise the question about the validity of the eldar point costs.. having to peform a 100pt game troop drop against the inperial navy my 1 vampire raider and 2 phoenix's (i would have taken nightwings but the damn things havent arrived yet). The vampire out-shone the pair of phoenix's, taking out 2 thunderbolts and managing to land 2 scoring units of troops (i might have bottled it and kicked the jump troops out at altitude 4), not to mention that it survived a total of 6 damaging hits (i love holofields!!!) compared with the phoenix's who managed to empty all ammo at the result of one dead manticore...
Now i appreciate that the vampires cost reflects that as a bomber it can only make an appearance in certain missions and it has only high maneuverability compared with the phoenix's very high... and ill also agree that the phoenix makes an excellent ground strike craft, (killed the manticore with a single missle attack) but id prefer to have taken two more vampire hunters instead of the phoenix's... for less points you get more firepower and twice as many hits per craft....
what does everyone else think?

I assume you plan have more to make?

The Eldar have very capable aircraft. Played Bandits over the Karsundi River and found Nightwings almost always in firing position with my Thunderbolts struggling to get on them.
