I'm looking to replace my windows sound scheme with sounds friom Dawn of War. Does anybody know a way I can find the files? Whjether it be a website with the sounds, or conversion programs,, etc...

If you tell me to google it, or something similar, I will remove your face with a rusty spatula :skull:

I've been researching this for some time. As of right now, there isn't a conversion program or codec for the proprietary sound format the game uses.

The best I can do for you a link to 4 mp3s of the in-game music. Perfectly legal, as they're from the German official site for the game. Scroll down a bit. They're listed after the patches. http://www.dawnofwar-game.de/downloads/

The French site also has some of the music, and the music for each country is a little different.

Though to get the sounds, I believe you need the mod tools (http://downloads.gameplanet.co.nz/dl.dyn/Files/3469.html) or some such thing. It is 3 in the morning, so I'm not feeling like hunting to provide a link to something telling you what to do, but go to the Relic forums (http://forums.relicnews.com/) and do a search. I'm pretty sure the mod tools give you access to the sounds, though I might be wrong. Feel free to attempt to remove my face if you want. I'll be asleep and not care.

However, I'm pretty sure that this is the only way to get the files, as it is the only answer that has popped up on their forums time and again, and I have never seen them available for download.

-EDIT- Or maybe it's the RDN tools. Frankly, I don't know what the difference is, but I think the RDN tools are newer. Maybe both work...
