ASK NOT WHAT THE WATCHMAN CAN DO FOR YOU BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR THE WATCHMAN.

We would like to make The Watchman a 'showcase' for the best artwork, the best literature , the best mini' painting, the most interesting background and tactics articles the most amazing efforts at sculpting, converting, terrain building.

We would like it to cover all armies and all aspects of fantasy (including all the specialist games and WFRP).

We would like it to be the best it can be.

Obviously, the few guys involved cannot cover all these aspects themselves. (and were not that talented!)

I see the talent we need everyday on these boards.

If you feel you can contribute anything to The Watchman, (a 'one off' article, an occaisonal contribution, or a regular feature), We would love to hear from you.

You can contact any of us (Voltaire, Jedi, or myself) via PM to discuss you ideas.
OR express your interest here and we will contact you.

Surely all you would have to do is PM board members if you wanted to feature highlights of their project logs etc. for the Watchman? Just a thought.

We're on it.
How is that Host of Tzeentch coming along?

But it is not just the best painters we are after. Its those really strange fellows that write rules for there own made up units and background for their characters and tactics for beating a steam tank with a snotling horde armed only with tooth picks that we are also interested in hearing from. (Nutters!)

You know who you are!

Drop us a line.

Also anyone who has written a bit of fantasy literature or done some warhammer inspired art that you are not sure is good enough to show anybody. Show it to us. We'll print it and everyone will tear it to shreds in the feedback and leave your ego so battered you will never pick up a pen or a paint brush again.:D

I already sent a piece, and according to voltaire its in next ish. I had an idea that I could do to tie in with that, but it means me buying some [censored] [deleted]s and I'll probably be a bit short on cash after next weeks **** up. But since when did that stop me when it comes to warhammer?
I'll drop Voltaire a PM, suggest that someone else do it if I can't.

Busy at the moment, but have a 4-month summer holiday coming up in June.

This year at uni I've been doing illustration, publishing, design, photography and animation, so I think I'll be pretty capable of contributing something good :)

@Coral. I will check in with Voltaire and see what you said and get back to you but thanks in advance.

@Shadowseercrofty. As above

@Scarletsquig. It will be great to have you aboard. Always enjoy your posts. I am sure you will bring a great deal of humour to any article you submit. But it sounds like you have quite alot you might bring to the party.

We won't get another issue out until late July (ish!!!!) so If your on hols before then and want to squeeze something in drop us a line if not...there will be another around october.

Hope to hear from you again when time permits.

Thanks to all of you and those who have PMed us. It is great that so many folks like the 'zine and want to contribute. The more people we can get involved the bigger and better we can make it each time.
