Check out the specialist games site, in their rules downloads there is Cities of Gold, the rules for Lustria. I believe part three is what you are looking for...

Yup, Lustria 3 is what you are after.

Be aware that Dark Elves really struggle in Mordheim. You either start with 9 guys with sod all cool equipment or 5 tooled up heroes. Your call.

They do have coolness factor on their side though.

dark elves? Struggle?!?!?

Well, they did in our campaign. They couldn't afford any Hnchmen to soak up hits so 2-3 Heroes went out of action each game. They couldn't get the income to buy Henchmen easily.

Then something was wrong.
My DE all had dagger and axe. And the heros had rep. x bow. I climbed up on roof tops and hid. Waited for the enemy to close in. And then shoot them, failing that. Did diving charges to chopp 'em up.

A neutral shade of black.

Applying Quickshot to repeater crossbow is what makes them overpowered late in the game. Without Quickshot to RXBs, they're underpowered. Either way, they're underpowered at the start, when everyone else has swarms of expendable troops and the DE player is stuck with his five heroes playing hit and run.

There's a reworked and rebalanced DE warband that's available on druchii.net, if you want. It's not official by any shot, but it's quite cool.

and it's no more balanced than the other one.

They changed things, but did NOT lower the cheese rating for those who choose to.

Cheese monger's guide to playing Dark Elves in Mordheim:

1) Get all heroes, and as many shooter henchies as possible ASAP. (Add one or two other henchmen as cheap as possible for bodies, and rout purposes.)

2) When you have 6 heroes, and roll a LGT for a shooty henchman, ditch your leader. Promote the sorceress.

3) For the next LGT, nix the beastmaster.

At this point, you have 5 shooty heroes, all with shooting and special skill lists, plus the sorceress.

They all take "Master of Poisons". Then you've got BS4+ S4 shots from the RXB. Add trick shooter when you can, and eagle eyes? you've got mean weapons.

If you group stacks the quickshot and double shot rules, you've got 5 heroes spitting out 4 S4, high BS attacks a turn, at a good range.

You don't need to play well at this point, your enemies fall apart under the fire.
