Oh baby, sounds good.

Looks like Ill have to skip a day of work for this one!

Does the AI part require a full range of ships, or just fighters? Pre-made lists, or flexible on the day?

Are there any more VIC Aeronautica players out there interested in attending?

Here is a link to the player pack, for any that may be interested in casual perusal.

The Battlefleet Gothic and Aeronautica Imperialis Tournament day, War over Hrekr IX, has been shifted to Saturday, 11th August so as to not conflict with other events that weekend.
Anybody that was considering entering but didnt't have the forces, you now have extra time to collect a force!

fattdex, forgot to add to my emails, if you wish to use any of the formats I sent over, or any variation of them, feel free to do so, even post them up as resources for your Tournies/Campaigns if you want. (Not sure they'll be useful, but still...)

Just a note, Forgeworld experimental rules will be permitted in the Aeronautica tournament (ie. Chaos Harbinger)

That's handy! ;)

Sounds like its going to be fun!

yes, there will be a regular club meet going on around on other tables as well, you are welcome to come along and play other games for the normal nonmember entry fee of 8 bucks, or just come along and spectate the AI games!

We are definitely going to try and run this again next year too, so start collecting now ;-)

Thanks to all of the participants today! we had a great series of games, was good to play some new opponents. Congrats to Luke and Chris on their placings and to Luke for taking the painting prize in a landslide decision!!

Battle reports, and hopefully a few photographs will follow at some stage!

[EDIT] yep, it was a harbinger- I thought I would get to finish painting it last night before the event but I ran out of time!! Unfortunately I drew defender in the air raid mission on the big day and she didn't see service anyways ;-)

Glad it all went well!

I look forward to seeing some pictures, especially of a Landslide winners stuff!! Sounds great.

Bat Reps will be good too. For my part my inital successes at AI have been sadly "Beginners Luck" affairs and I can't win anything to save my life now! LOL

It's a shame Aquila was cancelled as I was looking forward to an AI Tourney/Campaign day. So your reports are going to be my "proxy" participation event! ;)

And dont forget the hard work and excellent planning of our valiant organiser, fattdex, who also managed to place 1st by a one-point margin!

Well done on the whole event, JB, it was great.

Next time the Monash boys will hold one :)

Very nice, thanks for sharing the pics. Tables looked good, I like the use of all the scenery!

That Thunderhawk is amazing! No wonder there was a Landslide decision! Is there a Gallery somewhere for all the pictures or is that it for the day? (I know how difficult it is to find time for picture taking at these events!)

That's it I'm afraid! for our slice of the action anyway. also going on was the BFG side of things, which turned out to be a massive 4-5 player game on an 8x6 table with forces trying to destroy a ramilies starfort, as well as other pick up and play whfb, 40k and inquisitor games at the meet. Was a pretty good day all round!
