Im starting to get back into fantasy after a long break and im looking for a new army. Ive just got a necromancer bbowl and i quite fancy the VC

This is not going to be an ultra competative army, i'd rather have a laugh than strees. Ive always thought that a ghoul horde would be quite fun, a count/lord as general, 2-3 thralls for support, units of ghouls/dire wolves/bat swarms as troops, fell bats as special choices and maybe some unholy icon thingy as a black coach?

Any ideas on how to get this to work on the table?

cheers in advance

I saw an army like this in White Dwarf it was mostly dire wolves, bats, etc...
But the guy had a unit of what he called werewolves that used black knight rules, they were chaos hounds with static grass on 'em, I think you need something hard hitting like that to make it work. That or a giant. Good luck to you.

I made a very cool list with lots of ghouls and all vampires with a bat form...
Ghouls are a ver tough unit for their point cost so you can field a lot of them and they can dish out a lot of attacks :)

just take a unit of fell bats for warmachine removal and lots of wolves for flank/rank negation and other stuff
