Common Opponents
Orcs - Blocks of 15 + 20 Orcs, 10 Black Orcs, Warboss on Boar, Chariot/Rock Lobba, 2x5 Wolf Riders
VC - Necromancer, 2 Blood Dragon Thralls, 2x20 Skeletons, Dire Wolves/Ghouls
Empire - List varies all the time (although never a gun line)
BoC - Herds + Chariots is all I can really remember from the battles (This army has brought me my loses so far)

What, if any, is your favourite list? I plan to use all of them at some time or another but I would like some comments on them. What would you recommend I change for each list? As you can see from my sig I don't have much luck with Wood Elves so which of these lists would not only be fun to use but also bring me some well-won victories.

Cheers
G

I personally like list 3.

Although i would remove the waywatchers, as there march blocking isn't as useful and they arn't going to cause major wounds to rank and file, and as the empire dude isn't playing a gunline.

I would probably remove the wardancer noble as well, stick in a normal noble with h of d arrow (should be useful against chariots etc.) Or you can jsut stick with one hero, and use the points saved from both list to go with two units of glade guard or wild riders.

You need as many units running around as possible at 1000 points.

Couldn't not reply to someone with the screen name zack wylde.

Personally I'd go with list two, but drop a few glade guard and give the wild rider noble the hail of doom arrow.

Also, he can't have a shield and I would lost lamentation on the branchwraith and take paegant. Since you only have one bound spell in the list it will be very easily dispelled.

NEVER take unit champions in ogre-style units.

You can't add a sheild to the WR hero.

You only really need a musician in Wild Rider units.

dont' take champions in dryad units.

Always take 6 WW's for odds on KB.

Frankly,.. buy an army battalion, paint it up, play and play more.

Maybe some constructive criticism?

I like Champions in Dryad units, the extra attack on small frontage Dryad units really helps, or so I've found.
I've also found the extra attack and +1CR helps with small units of Wild Riders, fair enough if you don't agree, but that's what I've found in my experience.
Also I have most of these models, I'm not a beginning player at all. I've fought some battles using these lists so you don't have to try and patronise me:rolleyes:
I can take criticism, just as long as it helps in some form and isn't just blatant "high-horsing" and arrogance.

Anyone else want to put some input into these lists? I'd like it :)
