Here is my regiments of renown.

The Howling Lances:
Fluff: Many aeons ago, there once was a batallion of Bretonnian knights who had strode the land who knew no boundries and no equals. On a great crusade, they strayed from the path of their other brethren, seeking a different, but more deadly path. These knights should've met the rest of their forces, but they never did.

Their leader, Griswold Lancesinger, finally admitted to his troops they were lost. They wandered in the dark forest for what seemed to be hundreds of years. They eventually found their way out, only to realize that they had been lost for nearly 360 years in the forests of Athel Loren. They journeyed to Bretonnia, only to be cast away.

Thus, they wander, offering their services to the highest bidders, hoping to one day return to their time.

Captain: Griswold Lancesinger
Motto: None. The Howling Lances are known for screaming random noises and sounds instigating fear in their enemies.
For Hire: The Howling Lances can be hired as a Rare Choice in any army except Dark Elves, Chaos Dwarfs, any Chaos army or Undead army. The Howling Lances may be hired as Special choices in an Empire army and a Dogs of War army. The Howling Lances may also be hired by a Bretonnian army (although Bretonnians are not normally allowed to use Dogs of War) but they will take up 2 Rare choices instead of 1.
Points: Griswold and 4 Howling Lancers cost 230 points. This is the minimum size regiment that you can hire. The size of the regiment may be increased at a cost of 27 points per extra knight up to a maximum of 20 knights including Griswold.

SPECIAL RULES:

Blacksteeds: Blacksteeds are carefully chosen horses, that are far larger than most horses and faster than most. These are essentially faster and stronger versions of warhorses and are barded.

MAGIC ITEMS:
Howling Lance: The Howling Lance is a lance in all respects except for the following exceptions: it has a -2 save modifier on all enemy saves.

Wouldnt they have been eaten by the trees or Orion if they were stuck in Athel Loren? And since when does the hippy elves forest distort time? And make them more than 200 points. With four heavy cavalry and the equivilant of a paldin leading them, they should cost around 260 IMO.

Perhaps Orion didn't kill them because they were on their way to killing a Carstein vamp. The very very original begginning fluff had them being abandoned by Bretonnia and they weren't so top notch and then they hated the Empire and Bretonnia.

Points: Griswold and 4 Howling Lancers cost 280 points. This is the minimum size regiment that you can hire. The size of the regiment may be increased at a cost of 25 points per extra knight up to a maximum of 20 knights including Griswold.

Does the Howling Lance reduce enemy Wards as well?

No. Just normal armour saves. Ward might be a little cheap, don't you think?

You forgot to give the knights shields. Also the horses should really not be M9. ST4 ok, but not that AND be as fast as an elven steed!
