This may be a stupid question but here goes.
When fleeing from a charge (after the unit has been pivoted to face away from the chargers) is the distance measured from the front of the unit or from the rear as when fleeing after a failed break test? It makes a big difference in determining whether or not ranked units still fall in charge range or not.

You measure from front to front or rear to rear.

Hi

It does not make the slightest difference. Just remember to measure form back to back or from front to front.

After you moved the unit, the relevant end-position is the same. Then you measure to see if the chargers get you.

Doh

This whole time we were measuring from the front of the unit and placing the rear of the unit even with that mark. I guess our guys were really scared.

Thanx guys.

Hi

No problem: It is an easy mistake to make, especially if you come from the WH40K crowd: I have rarely seen an WH40K player doing his measuring in a consistent way: Most just measure from the neare end of the base and put the farther end of the base at the spot they measured, as if an 1" diameter (of the base) did not make any difference...
