Checked out the Player Pack PDF.
It has a huge number of typos and errors which make it very hard reading! :(
There are some bits which are just confusing.
And there's a mention that models should be painted and based. Does that just mean that the bases should be the FW ones or that they should have textured and painted bases? If the latter, forget it! ;)

The other fact that confused me is that Advanced Rules apply throughout, apart from the Initial Dogfight??? Why wouldn't the ammo supply rule apply to the Dog Fight as well?

Finally, and I'm not just being picky as I was genuinely interested in attending this, why only 120 point games? This seems very small, even for a Tourney/event.

Surely with 4 games in a day at least the final could be as high as 200 points?

the inital dof fight is to get people familiar with each other, just like Cp in 40k tournies
Typos = sorry will correct
120 points give every one a good level of gaming and from the test runs we've done will allow every level of player a chance of completing the each round

also remember this is still the First ever AI tourney and we are still developing the format, with feed back going to FW

Happy gaming

OK, no problem, was just interested is all.
Look forward to seeing the results of your endeavours (it appears I may now be away over that weekend! :( ) as we may end up running a Campaign at our GCN Club.
There was no adverse criticism intended!
I've just been bitten by the AI bug (in a really big way! LOL) and am currently enjoying playing 200 point games, and want to go even higher asap! :D

Aquila please, I may try and bring HG along as well, I'll speak to him about it.

I'm taking a bit of a break from 40K atm (haven't played anything but specialist games since Carnage in March).

Hmmm, if you're going to go Brim, I might see whether I can squeeze the day out of the schedule!
Just not sure what weeks the missus is booking off.

Could be amusing eh?

MacVurrich

I understand this has been postponed for now?

It's a great shame but I look forward to the rescheduled agenda!

yes
unforunately the recent weather has caused a number of cancellations that meant that it would not make it really viable.
