me and my brother are doing an inquisitor campaign and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what model i should use for my rogue trader.

well, first of all (and this is a legitimate question) what scale are you going to use? the War Machine series has several very nice, very independant looking models. these are great as Rogue traders, because they will look different than anyone else in the Games-Workshop range, but still can have other models from WarMachine to back him up.

you must ask those more pure than myself on matters of 54mm.

well depends what type of RT your going for, if you like the good guy type converting a model like Eisenhorn is a good place to start. if you like the shadyer side of RT maybe the criminal boss might be a nice model to use, the big over cloak and rings make a good looking model. the rings can also be used for digi-weapons and the like.

Why not go have a look at the thousands of 54mm models available from Historex Agents? You'll find some really interesting historical and movie characters that would great great bases for interesting Rogue Traders - and they're often cheaper than the GW models, too.
