hey ive got a question about the battle axe of the last waagh. in the book it doesnt state that it is 2 handed so im assuming that it is only a 1 handed weapon but some people in my area seem to think it is a 2 handed weapon because of a couple white dwarf pictures where they use the orc hero with the 2 handed axe. any one actually know if its a 1 or 2 handed weapon? im leaning towards 1 handed based on its rules.

also what is the better weapon for a black orc warboss or would ironclaws waagh cleava be better?

any help would be apprecitated

You may use the Battle Axe of the Last Waaagh and a shield at the same time. Pictures from WD and the opinions derived there-of count for less than the printed text.

If a magical item requires the use of two hands (and thus, presumably, disallows the use of a shield) it will be clearly stated in the item description.

1) What T10 said.

2) Use the Akkrit Axe and the Kickin' Boots instead, you can pretty much count on 5 Str 6 hits per charge. The Last Waaagh Axe is really nice until you receive a flank charge, or start taking more casualties, then it's a 100pt hand weapon that can harm ethereal creatures.
