40mm and expensive.

Nice for collectors if that style (Goth-porno-horror) is your bag. Otherwise of limited interest to gamers.

I think I saw a thread about these last year here (or was it Dakka?)

actually my post was in regard to the side activities of GW, either funded of simply sanctioned

If you search for Femme Militant, there's a thread with a conversation between me and the head of studios on Warseer, Zoe Wedderburn, which may be of interest.

damn me for not searching

thanks! :)

Wow! A lot of really great stuff at that site. Pricey, but very nice. Good to see Werner Klocke work. His sculpts are great.

I have one of those, very nice model :)

Did you find the post, fracas?
Interesting stuff, no?

I love JB's work enormously - I bought one of the Militant and they're such beautiful sculpts - more of this kind of thing needed for 40k, I think; return of some rogue trader dark humanity stuff.

I'm very suprised at the cool reception these miniatures receive on Warseer - but then we are in the 'age of Tau', I suppose.

I've been thinking of picking one of these up, but i'm not sure how well it'll scale up against Inquisitor models. (i know they're smaller, but i dunno by how much)

they are noticably smaller as inquisitor is slightly larger than 54mm scale.

still, they look good for painting and displaying.

i did a search and read up on all the previous post
again the models are interesting

but what got me to post the thread though was that GW appears to be so much more than just the core games, yet why can't they harvest these creative bents toward better support for their games, especially the specialist games
and why didn't they standardize things more

large scale: inquisitor
medium scale: 40k, FB, necromunda, blood bowl, mordheim
small scale: epic, warmaster (why is one 6mm and the other 8mm for god sake?)
and fleet scale: bfg
