Clear plastic rod?

Anyone know where to source some clear plastic rod for making long stands?

I just glued magnets to all the bases and the flying base struts and (ensuring the polarities are correct) just pile strut on strut if I want a higher stand!

Works very well and they are all interchangeable and easy storage too! :D

yep :D i happened to find them last night, i think 1/8" clear rod would be great.
Ordered some in, we'll see how it goes (will have to snap the old rods off my planes and re-drill 1/8 holes, but a little pain never hurt anybody)
