At the moment, I have a glut of games to choose from: I have a whole bunch of new maps for Dawn of War, I just installed Medieval: Total War, I just started playing KotOR, and I have completed C&C Generals, and am about to start Zero Hour.

So what's getting high rotation in YOUR b0xx3n-0-d00m?

17-08-2005, 01:51
Urbandead and windows internet checkers mainly these days.

17-08-2005, 02:04
I am playing a couple of demos,

FEAR - God I thought I would never say this but it rawks, probably one of most impressive demos I have ever played. It has the same spooky atmosphere of System Shock 2 couple with the action of Half Life 2.
The Demo has made me want to buy this game. If you have not downloaded the demo I urge you to do it now.

Fahrenheit - Also seems like a good game, an adventure game where you take the role of character that has just murdered some one. Itís hard to explain without giving away the nature of the story, but it would seem it is a game where your actions or inactions have repercussions for later on the game. It is also been shifted onto the buy list.

I am also playing GTA:San Andreas, Boling Point and Vampire Masquerade: Blood lines.

17-08-2005, 02:05
Urbandead, and I'm through two runs of MGS3 right now. One for the game, and the other for Kerotan Frogs.

17-08-2005, 02:08
I just grew bored with WoW (plus our connection has been really dodgy and erratic recently so it's impossible to play anyways), and to my immense annoyance, I don't have any good offline games around. I play a little PlanetSide sometimes, but with the aforementioned connection issues, that's really hard as well. I'm trying to download KotOR, but eMule isn't working properly either, which is a bitch since I have about 4mb left on it. And I just finished Doom 3, with a really anti climatic final boss.

Urbandead and Gunz right now. I don't play DoW online and I've gotten tired of it, though I still need to install the latest map pack.

I'm still playing GTA San Andreas. Just got back to Los Santos. It's been going for a while. Before that I played a little bit of GTA 2 (yesa the 2-D one) and KotOR2. KotOR2 was great. I loved it. San Andreas is fantastic too.

17-08-2005, 02:52
Guild Wars mainly, throw in Tiberian sun for a little Getesburge mode every now and then ;).

17-08-2005, 08:20
Urband Dead, but I'm waiting for Dungeon Siege 2, and later Black & White 2.

17-08-2005, 08:25
If I find the time to play, I usually play GuildWars PvP nowadays. I just lack the time to start a whole new PvE character right now (the skills I need for my planned build arent' availble that early...) and PvP games are reasonably fast to play. :)

At the end of the year, when Runaway 2 is being released, you'll probably see me playing that a lot...the first part of the adventure was pretty nice and I look forward to taking a look at the new one.

17-08-2005, 08:30
Um, at the moment, the Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion Demo. Vewwy nice :D.

Operation Flashpoint every now and then and...um...Battlefield 2 demo...

I would be playing Half Life 2 and Counter Strike: Source if my Steam acccunt worked >=[

17-08-2005, 09:49
Ehm... Urban Dead and Battlefield 2 (WHOOO)

17-08-2005, 11:43
Brothers in Arms on my PS2, but I'm taking a little break after tank shock!!!

So I'm just playing random levels of Killzone - campaign mode and battlefields.

17-08-2005, 12:38
This week I have been mostly playing Rome Total Realism v6.0, Panzers Phase Two, Garrys Mod for Half Life 2, Battlefield 2, Sid Meiers Pirates and Call of Duty. Oh and the Barbarian Invasion demo, which was dissapointing to say the least:

I'm glad to see they fixed all those bugs! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v113/Chuffy/doh.jpg)

17-08-2005, 12:54
Urban Dead, mostly. I would like to also say BF2, but i havent really had time for that much in the last few weeks, not much more than a few hours per week...

17-08-2005, 13:18
Urban Dead and EA Sports Rugby 2005.

When I first played UrbanDead I thought it was cack, and didn't bother again for about a week. Predictably when I came back my survivor hadn't survived, so I went off munching, and started a new character, my fireman Osama Bin Laden. I am now completely addicted to the game.

I've been trying to find a decent rugby game for ages. EA Sports is not exactly perfect, but it's the best I've yet found. Anyone know a better one?

17-08-2005, 14:33
DOW, Diablo 2(still, new patch n all), op flashpoint (waiting for armed assault though). Was playing battlefield2 before i got bored of it, and GTA:SA occasionally.

17-08-2005, 14:42
Urban dead.

Gone back to playing TA too.

17-08-2005, 14:43

Medal of Honour (Allied Assault) with a few friends on a private server, most weekends.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down if I feel the need to be spanked (in stat-servers).

An occassional SP-mission in Dawn of War.

Haven't touched my Xbox in many weeks. :(

On my PC? Nothing, unless you count Street Fighter Alpha 3 via MAME. I've been playing Tekken 5 mostly.

17-08-2005, 15:09
Final Fantasy 7 and DoW. And some Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines when I can bother.

On console it's FFX all the way, though I'm going through an irritated phase where I can't acess the Celestials because Dark Aeons are in the way all the time.

Does this have something to do with yours and Answers absence? :p

17-08-2005, 18:44
Football Manager 2005.
Diablo II.
Dawn of War.

17-08-2005, 22:14
Nothing exciting except F105 on PS2, which I overly use I do have to say.

17-08-2005, 22:25
A little of Warcraft 3 and the expansion pack.
Urban dead!

17-08-2005, 22:48
FM 2005 again (Cade's fault)
Internet poker (won a high elf starter box last month :D )

17-08-2005, 23:00
Right now I'm only playing 1 game, Dungeon Siege II, pretty good, a lot better than the first one at least.

17-08-2005, 23:20
Guild Wars and (if it counts) Ogame. Also the odd LAN game of Dawn of War...

17-08-2005, 23:22
Let's see...

Medal of Honor (Allied Assault), Battlefield 2 Demo, Worms 4 Demo ;) , and occasionally Age of Mythology.

Brother Frog
17-08-2005, 23:53
On the few occasions that I play games, the general concensus is that Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is the CD in my drive.

Oh, and Urban Dead of course...

18-08-2005, 00:03
Just reinstall Freespace 2, probably the best space shooter of all time. Yes I said that the best, even better than Star Wars X-Wing or Star Wars Tie Fighter.

I bought it ages ago, it was a budget title which also had the Freespace in the same box. So I will probably revisit the first Freespace as well.

18-08-2005, 03:17
Oohh, Freespace sounds good. I've been looking for a good space shooter lately, so I might pick this up. Cheers Big_Bear!

18-08-2005, 05:45
Playing WoW, Guild Wars and Warcraft 3: TFT- except a particular map called 'Dota Allstars'. Great map

18-08-2005, 06:57
>>>>>I play BF2 for DR2nd and I also play DoTA (Defence of the Ancients) in WarIII, its a custom map that half of b.net plays; honestly.

I'm a little surprised to see that DoTA isnt that popular here, its a fun game.

18-08-2005, 07:20
Snoozer, DS2 isn't out in Europe dare I ask how the hell you got it?

I ask because I'm damn annoyed waiting for the 2nd of September to buy it while listening to all the Americans on the message board talk about it etc.

Unless your talking about the Demo...

18-08-2005, 09:38
Oohh, Freespace sounds good. I've been looking for a good space shooter lately, so I might pick this up. Cheers Big_Bear!

It is quite hard to get hold of, I got it about 3 years ago for £14.99. You might need to check out ebay.

here is the link to amazon.com

notice it is getting sold for nearly $100 used !!!!! and that is just Freespace 2.

18-08-2005, 09:58
Mostly this month i have been playing..... Guild Wars, Discworld Noir and Brothers in Arms (that i got for £20) and im trying to decide if i wanna get into WoW or do i want sims 2 hmmm i dunno.

18-08-2005, 15:27

19-08-2005, 09:31

Got bored of GTA SA so now im going through the classics again

21-08-2005, 19:30
killer 7 here

22-08-2005, 00:28
God Of War...........very good game, if a little on the short side

30-08-2005, 05:00
I was referred to an online turn-based strategy game called Fall of Rome. Anyone interested in the play-by-mail genre involving military, politics, economy, and intrigue, would probably like it. Consider it akin to the Civilizations or Age of Empires series. All four of those facets are pretty equal, so it may not have enough WAR for much of the Warseer crew, but I still find it fun nonetheless.

It has a 72-hour turnaround for each turn, so some patience is required.

Lord of Carcassonne
30-08-2005, 05:23
Warcraft 3
Dawn of War
Total war
Megaman games
Baldurs gate 1,2

30-08-2005, 07:46
Currently I'm playing Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and re-playing Silent Hill 2.

30-08-2005, 12:43
When I have time to game, a bit of variety. KOTOR II is getting a bit of play (mainly concentrating on Influencing characters). The Earth 2160 Beta gets a bit of use (looking rather outstanding at the moment.) Me and my brother have been playing a bit of co-op Knightshift RPG as well. So, this and that. Haven't played Dawn of War for a while: I haven't gone off it, just giving it a rest for a while :)

30-08-2005, 14:43
I'm playing KotOR on my Xbox for the third time, with a female character this time, though I haven't been able to play much as I have exams right now.
Also have been playing some good old Theme Hospital on the side. A fun and easy sim from days of yore. :)

On my to do list (for when my exams are finished) is Fallout 2 (of which I heard a lot of good things).

Right now, at this very moment, I'm playing Resident Evil 4, which I bought recently as part of my master plan to make sure I don't miss out on this generation's classics before they go off sale (I figured that after missing the boat with a load of 8-bit, then 16-bit, then PS1-era titles it was about time I learned my lesson). Also getting a lot of air time: Gamecube Soul Calibur 2 and PS2 Tekken 5. Next up when I come into some cash: Metroid Prime 2 and Viewtiful Joe. Beer intake has been drastically reduced for the duration of this scheme.

Now to see if I can rustle up a sufficient excuse to splash out on an X-Box...

Right now, I'm playing shadowbane, desperatly waiting for the lore server so I can test out my totally ubah Half Giant ambi-dex Sentinel. All offensive stance, all the time.

30-08-2005, 17:31
Now to see if I can rustle up a sufficient excuse to splash out on an X-Box...
Don't worry, as soon as the 360 hits the shelves, the 'ordinary' Xbox will surely drop in price (though the current price is still not too bad - I payed Ä500 for mine  ).

Oh, and try a little beer intake. It helps reaching gaming zen.

EDIT: I see Bubble Ghost has deleted his reply to this post. That's the second time I've seen this happen. I wonder what his true postcount is... :p

I just finished KotOR, and am now feeling an empty, gaping void in my soul.

Must try and find a cheap copy of KotOR II.

C&C Generals: Zero Hour is getting some playtime, and I just scored a bunch of new maps for DoW which has rejuvenated the game for me. I also recently acquired a Logitech X360 (I think that's what it's called) joystick, and am having stupid amounts of fun with X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, all by my lonesome :p

31-08-2005, 14:36
Vib Ribbon (PS1). Those crazy Japanese.

Star Wars Battlefront (PS2). The Hoth map alone make this replayable for years.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X (PS2). How long does this game wanna be?

IK+ (C64). I still don't know if I love this or Soul Calibur 2 more.

Tomb Raider 2 (PS1). God love her, Lara's still great.

Thrust (C64). Perfect gameplay, but impossibly hard after reverse gravity.

31-08-2005, 16:32
Hmm... Let's see...

Diablo 2: LoD
Any number of PS1 Final Fantasy games (I've got them all now, so why not, you know?)
Some Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge (with the Cannis mod, of course)
Bit of CS:S when I can be bothered
Street Fighter Alpha 3 whenever I feel the need to let loose some anger.

31-08-2005, 19:03
Diablo 2 - LoD

going to have to make a new battle.net account later

i just completed oddworld strangers wrath: i am big fan of the oddworld series

and now im onto like the fourth level on predator: concrete jungle, its a pretty pants game.

the gameplay just destroys all the cool elements of other parts of the game, such as the fact that you're predator and have all his gnarly weapons (yea thats right, gnarly to the max)
