Well, I tried chaos some time ago and then for some odd reason, gave up and messed around with my other armies. Well in preparation for the release of the new codex and all the rumors going around I have been very inspired to dust off my minis. Speaking of dust, this will be a tzeenech cult, with probably only 1 unit of thousand sons and lots of dedicated units. I started with the first thing I brewed up in my head at work, a chaos terminator!

Don't worry about the awful paint job on the head, it will be repainted and it was.....liberated from a friend of mine :rolleyes:, who is worst at painting than I am.

I like...
I've always had a soft spot for the cults of Tzentch...
Speaking of which. You just gave me an idea...
Damn you :P

Now onto color scheme...... I was messing around with my new paint today (regal blue) and came up with this;

Now in my opinion this is decent, but I'm not sure if I like it. I could always use my old color scheme which was hawk turquoise highlighted with scorpion green as you can see on my old khornate possessed.

Maybe a mix of the 2? a 1:1 ratio of turquoise to regal blue highlighted with scorpion green? Also if anyone could suggest a highlighting tutorial that would be great, cause I suck.

Well here's my take on the horrors......or i guess "lesser daemons". these were also liberated from a friend's fantasy army the hands were all missing as they were bought from another gamer so I decided to try to add some oomph to them. I have a few more and yes, I do plan on using the new daemons.

I like what you've done with those Tzeentch Daemons, Bluebugs! :) I myself think they best represent my mental image of daemons - almost formless, ever shifting, twisted beasties, conjured to suit whatever whim they or their masters desire. Looking forward to seeing them painted! :cool:

I think you need to do something to make your blues and yellows richer. Blue ink and yellow highlights maybe?
Edit: Oh yeah. Great modeling.

Well, this will be my first marine to join the army. This is probably the most labor intensive paint job I've ever done personally and I think it has paid off. Although he is far from being finished, i thought I would add him anyway as he already shows the basic run down of my paint scheme. Well, here he is!

And this is not final, but this is what I have done so far today.
