What should I equip the warriors with? Was thinking venom cannon and devourer.....

Ok this may actually go under tactics but hey I am not of the inquisition of warseer!

Alright are you running 2 sets of 3 or as a set of 6?

If 2 sets of 3 then do this:
Make 2 CC nightmares that kill loads
Make the other one shooty

If running as a unit of 6 do this:
Make 4 CC night mares that kill loads
Make other 2 shooty

Got it?
Cause the shooty one is softening the butter oh I mean enemy while the others are getting ready to charge and kill loads.

Go for deathspitters, they're traditional so long as you mount them of the bug's forelimbs.

I’ve got to disagree with cleansingfury, try and keep your warriors specialized. Either make them an all purpose anti-infantry squad with a barbed strangler and devourers, a dedicated anti-skimmer unit with a venom cannon and deathspitters, or an assault unit with scything talons, rending claws and leaping. If you’re going for the shooting option go with 2 units of 3, or a big unit of six if you want the melee specialists.

But whatever you do with them, keep the points down as much as possible. They’re never going to be that good and making them more expensive is only going to make them more vulnerable, but cheaper units can pretty handy.

Heh I play with 30 some odd point cc- flying warriors... good stuff good stuff. Keep em behind cover and then charge your opponent and let him taste rendingc claw scytal death.

What else do you have in your list? What sort of armies do you usually face?

That way they can be tailored to suit your force. Personally, if you want close combat, but don't need the synapse, raveners are a much better and faster choice.

I would use cheap warriors as a synapse firebase, preferrably sitting in some cover to save them from the dreaded heavy bolter.
