Yes. All units in the Orcs & Goblin army book are subject to animosity, with the exceptions listed in the rules for Animosity.

basically, every unit that contains 5 or more orcs and/or goblins (with the exception of black orcs -and snotties?-) test for animosity.

Units that don't suffer from animosity:

From O&G Armybook, pg.16

Fleeing units.
Units in close combat.
Units of fewer than five models.
War machines and Chariots.
Units of Snotlings, Trolls, Giants and Black Orcs.

EDIT:
And I assume units that are Immune to Psychology,... which would include Squig Hoppers.

Thats the way I've been playing it.

ItP does not give you immunity to Animosity. Hoppers and Herds test at the start of your turn like all other units not on the list.

"Units" meaning 5 or more.

That's not correct. Read the rules on ItP.

Yes, units with less than five models do not test for Animosity, as it is one of the exceptions listed.

Nah, because savage orcs wouldn't test for animosity either if this was the case.

Heh, this is a assumption I made early on and never thought to question it until last night during a game, because of this thread. Don't know how that got past me,... attack of the stupids I guess.

Ah, 5 or fewer models? I'd assumed it would be unit strength, good to know my opponent was right about it last night :D

It is models and it is important, since when a wolf rider or a spider rider dies (due to missile fire for example) in a unit of 5, you've got a unit of 4 riders which doesn't have to bother about animosity anymore. And it's still unit strength 8.
