    After a long absence, and a lot of behind the scenes work, we have finally upgraded the software we use to run the WarSeer forums to the latest, most secure version.

    The most obvious indication of the upgrade is the site's appearance - its 'look and feel' has changed. At this moment in time the number of skins available to use has been reduced. A number of the previous skins are not being used because they are not compatible with the latest version of the forum software. We do intend to re-introduce some of the previous skins but not until we have ironed out all of the bugs which have arisen as a result of the upgrade.

    As I Just mentioned we still have some bugs to iron out, something which is inevitable with any major upgrade such as the one we have just carried out. If any of you encounter any bugs, then please let us know about them     here.

      Good to see we're finally returning to the old normality. Looking forward to we have a front page that is actually worth reading again!

      I really like the new skin it's an improvement in many ways! And I agree with the Jo-Jo and Wintermute, I hope to read some interesting information on the front page!

      Congrats!

      White on black hurts this old moles eyes though. Hoping for the gold theme to make a reappearance.

      Only problem I have encountered, is viewing on a smartphone. It looks fine, but I can't reply, it won't let me select in th reply field, either quick reply or other. Is fine on mobile version, but I don't find that easy to use!

      Not sure if that's an issue that can be resolved by you or not. The old version used to work fine.

      I've had no such problems on my phone eltanko, though I have found the forum tends to think I've posted twice when I click on the post reply button and reformats to fit the screen a bit slower than the old site. Just niggles mind, and ones I put down to my phone/the android OS rather than any problem with the forum.
