I just saw this on the AoW forums.

It's not news yet, just a possibility. (I hesitate to even call it a rumor)

The next two sets to come out are injection molded plastic, rather than Warcast.

I don't know what this means for Warcast, but in practice AoW is showing a move away from the material.

Considering the eagerness of the community to get a hold of their dwarves, perhaps he was silent about the Dwarf Thunder Warriors and the Rangers for so long because he didn't want it to come to a public vote of "Now, even if it means lower quality material" or "Later, if it means better quality."

I'm fine with Warcast going away. It was a fine material (a little fragile), and casting didn't seem to work out the way he wanted. The whole purpose was to solve their supply problems, and it seems their supply problems are still an issue so the Warcast maybe just didn't work the way he wanted.
