Anyone playing this game? I have been attempting to advance the cause of Vanu now for a while on the Waterson server, but I confess, I often suffer from a bad case of shotintheheaditis. My own tendencies towards uninspired death aside, I think this is game is quite kickass: huge, constant battles, reasonable amount of balance, really awesome when your side gets coordinated and you watch as infiltrators recon an area, tanks and air support start pounding it as the infantry moves up and **** gets real. And it's all free to play. Not the "free-to-play but expensive to enjoy" sort of deal either; you can buy stuff, but everything useful can be attained by free-to-players as well.

News from E3: There's a new Warhammer 40k MMO in the works (not the previously announced Dark Millennium).

Some features include:
--3rd person melee & shooting gameplay.
--SM, CSM, Eldar, & Orks at launch, with all factions eventually slated for release.
--Tyranids as NPCs at launch.
--Ability to operate Predators, Battlewagons, and other faction-specific vehicles.
--Multiple persistent worlds to fight over, with clear winners and losers.
--Each player has their own spaceship, which can even be used for orbital bombardment at the higher levels.
--Player-created quests, as higher-level players will be officers who can organize actual crusades and give orders to lower-ranked players.

It almost sounds like Planetside 2, but 40k.

Not much info and 40k MMOs have been in development before without materializing. Still, worth keeping an eye on it I suppose.

So we have the first official trailer for Dragon Age Inquisition (aka DA3). I'm excited. Release date means it's been in development for around four years so they seem to have learnt from the mistakes with rushing DA2 out. Really excited.

EA are apparently making a new Star Wars Battlefront game, which has been hotly wishlisted by fans for years now.

For various reasons I've been out of PC gaming for quite a while now, since around 2007 to be exact. I've had laptops and played some games on them, but I've decided it's finally time to get back to my long-missed PC and catch up on many games that've come out since then which I've had to ignore.

Naturally the big step in this is getting myself a good gaming PC. The problem is I've been out of the loop for so long I no longer know what to look for, where to investigate, what specs matter for what, etc. It's all changed so much, and even finding somewhere to seek out this sort of advice is no less daunting, especially since there are so many things to take into account.

I know Warseer isn't a forum focused on this kind of thing, so rather than directly asking all sorts of questions here, I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for where might be some good places to look around. Forums that I could post questions on, general up-to-date guides on gaming rigs, anything that might help me get back in the know and start putting together a solid gaming PC.

A couple of months ago I got hooked on Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes a stopped playing just before it was closed down. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of other active battle arena type games?

I just recently found myself without internet at home and have been playing the Dawn of War series singleplayer campaigns.
I remembered there were a lot of mods and such and I searched for fan created campaigns but found just one:

The fall of Cyrene.

I downloaded it and it´s a cracker, but I´ll finish soon and need moar.
Can anyone can point me in the right direction for some fan made single player dawn of war/winter assault/dark crusade/soulstorm?

Well the ps4 and Xbox - one have appeared as s amazon pre-orders at £599.99

It seems a bit steep but these are initial prices for the consoles. I'm just wondering if they will ever drop below £200, and they are currently predicting £90 a game

Anyone know of any good espionage and/or counter-terrorism video games on PC? By good I mean games with actual espionage and/or counter-terrorism elements not shooters where the main character is referred to as a spy but primarily just shoots things.
