Hey guys, im semi-new to BB and im currently playing Pro Elves in my league's new starter league, im finding them a little bland so plan to switch to something more "fun", we might have the option of running 2 teams in the proper league as it will hopefully be split into two divisions, i have decided one of my teams will be Norse and the other will be either Skaven or Vampires, so look for other players views on the "fun" level of either of those or another team if people would like to suggest one?

Hey guys. Just getting back into Blood Bowl.

Of the various teams available, a number seem to have been put together either as a nod to past editions, or to placate players like myself who started playing Blood Bowl several years ago with teams like 'The Champions of Death'. Is the classic 'Undead' team something that works for you in the rules, or was it just thrown together to give rules for teams people already had from back in the day? Are there other teams that are just there to fill out the numbers?

Heres a question, when painting a star player what would his uniform be ? Would it be the standard paint scheme of the model or would they wear your teams uniform ?

I was thinking of buying a few big guys from Comixininox.com (Rat ogre, rat ogre, ogre and ogre), but I read that they come with 40mm bases. Am I to understand that you actually need custom built fields in order to actually play with them, since the squares on the normal BB board are 30mm?

The second rat ogre and second ogre listed also looks on the picture to be on 25mm bases, if I am not mistaken?

Does anyone have experience with big guys from this site?

I was just posting in a different thread which got me thinking about Slann teams.

To me, these stand out as an oddity in the BB world in several ways. Firstly, there were rules for them in 2nd edition (I didn't play 1st so don't know about that), but they had no models made for them. This wasn't unique, but there weren't many races that had rules but no models back then - I can only think of Slann, Mummies, and Norse. Secondly, and most obviously, when Warhammer gradually got updated, the old Slann race was completely redesigned to be big blobby mages sitting on thrones - not suitable for BB at all. So getting a WHFB plastic regiment and converting them into a BB team did *not* become an option for the Slann (and obviously they didn't have rules for 3rd ed until relatively recently, so few people probably wanted this option).

Anyway... I want to ask what people think of Slann. Not so much rules or tactics, but models and suitability/accessibility. Do you like that BB is sticking with a race that no longer exists in that form in the Warhammer universe? Are you OK with the fact that there are no GW models for them? Do you like the non-GW models available for them? Are they, overall, hot or not?

Hi, I'm intending to start up Blood Bowl, and intending to build a Khemrian (possibly undead) team to tie in with my WIP Tomb King army. Can anyone suggest any good builds for a Khemrian team? I'd like to keep some theme in there, whilst also fulfilling a practical role on the field.
