Mmm the painting thing will be a challenge as usual. but never the less I already have soem cool ideas for the palace. I'm thinking of having it be the shining beacon in the city with a very light coloured paint job to make it stand out from the rest of the city terrain. Just need to figure out what I need to build it.

Oh we also need to model several of the sewer exits in the city.

Had a few sick days to spend on building so the 2' City Gate is almost finished (except for painting) will post some pics and plans for the rest of the wall this weekend.

Hobby tip: If there is a university nearby, see if they have an architecture or industrial design faculty.. (I'm an architecture student here and we have a shop which supplies model materials cheap and has a large selection!)

Very nice looking city gate, are you planning on having some gates? if you want to make them moveable them Radio Controlled aircraft hinges are great for that job.
Looking forward to seeing this painted!
