Well it seems there are some intresting models between it.You just need to do the bases.

Ok, remember these guys? :
Well I've redone their standard bearer, based them, etc. I've done a bit of "shuffling around" with the orcs and the bases etc, so I use only 20 orcs for a unit of 25:
I've gone a bit old school for them, with the checkers and stuff, actually I just kind of copied the banner you can find in the 5th edition book, just did the skull my way, prefer it like that. I'll probably add more checkers and red parts here and there to lessen the dominant brown tint of the unit, but for now, it's good enough like that.
I've decided to basically cut my army in three themes:
1) Barren Lands Waaagh! (bad lands, etc). The guys above belong to that group. Kind of summer grass feel for the bases (painted brown, as you can see), dry in places, thick in others. River trolls will probably get a varient of that.
2) Mountains Waaagh. I'll probably rebase all my nigh gobs some day, they'll end up on rocky bases (painted grey), with broken tiles, etc. Stone trolls will probably get this treatment too.
3) Northern Waaagh. The WiP "chaos armor clad" (sort of) gobs shown before will belong there. Dunno what colour to paint the bases in yet (brown, grey, white? what would you do?), but they'll get snow in there. I'll probably turn the spear wolves into the same kind of gobs, too.

loads of improvement on the mob standard, raising the boss up to ont he rock is good. not make a movement tray you can blend in with the bases.
for the ice themed ones, try tensions thread for the dwarves he did for a tournament. his was snow and looked great.

That new troll looks great in browns
Wow, I really love that unit of boyz, really looks like the green tide of ugly muscle they are supposed to be. I love the brown hue you got running through them, really ties the army together.
That banner is very old skool but I like it and it really suits the unit.
I agree with the nice banner comment. It IS a nice banner.![]()

Very nice banner indeed.
Love the ork skin you've done bro, makes it look rugged and "weathered". Really nice change to how orks are usually painted![]()

Hop, all my goblin champions (I think):
Sorry if the background is a bit messy, if anyone cares, I can take better individual pics.
You can see the result of my fiddling with snow on the regular goblin boss on the third pic, btw. I'm pretty happy with the result (like I'd say otherwise).

Hop, my first "mountain" themed base
It looked neat, but there's two problems:
1) it's long to do, and I have a loooot of night gobs...
2) it looks neat, but basically most details disapear when I put the goblin on it, silly me ><

I dig the 'mountain' base, but yeah, would take awhile to do that all your goblins...

make molds and cast bases. very easy to do and would only require a dozen or so at most to make to have plenty of flavor or also try www.epicast.com for resin bases with different textures.

Hop, since I got the same squig hopper mini three times (recently acquired on ebay), I've decided to do some mount swapping (on one of them for now), so after convincing the little bugger to get off his mount, and placing him on one of my doublon squig herder squigs, it made sense that I would fill back the previous mount to place it in the squig herd. Took my inspiration from one of the WAR squigs available to the squig hunter class (this one: http://www.warhammeronline.com/engli...CA_0706_09.jpg ). Didn't make the "tubes" as pronounced, but I may add some lengt to them later, when the epoxy has dried:

Squigs!
Since I'm basically rebasing all my army, I took the opportunity to repaint my old squigs, and add a few more to the packsBesides the ones on the pics, I have 6 more hoppers (old ones) to paint, and I'm planning to convert 4 more from the unmounted squigs from the current squig herd. I'll also have to convert the 6 others left, I refuse to have the same squig model twice
But I need a break from them for now, so it will be for later.

Your models look very good with those new bases. Keep up the good work.
