As I said before, I've sculpted a fish over the ball, and given him a weapon. Fairly basic conversion, but I think he looks cool (well, at least, more than it seems on these pics ><).

The river troll looks really cool, and he looks furious. I wouldn't like to see him in a dark ally when I'm alone. The other trolls look nice to.

Well, I'm very happy with him. The banner itself could probably be improved, but the troll itself (the sculpted head, I mean) is better than my wildest expectations Well, I think, at least...
Oh, and I've finally found how to turn off the goddamned flash, so the pics are better than usual, too (but it's night-time and my light is tinted yellow, so the colours are a bit off, I tried to correct it, but it's not perfect, especially the belly and inside of the ears. The blue is about right).

Well that bloodbowl troll is really a godsend, I always field my trolls in units of 4, so with only 3 warhammer river trolls, I always had to proxy the 4th one with a stone troll, which didn't look cool. Now, instead, I got a troll that looks like a unit champion

And to think that they will all be the core choices of my next army... It's like GW discovered I was getting all the troll models and they thought "hey! let's make Urgat happy!"
And as i'm in the process of getting the 3 chaos trolls, I shall have four units of four trolls soon Then I only need the two metal "normal" trolls, I'll need to convert a fourth one to go with them and the BfSP plastic one, and I'll have my five troll units, a solid (if somewhat difficult to deploy) base for a troll army ^^
The giant troll on the previous page I'll play as a shaggoth (I belong to the very few who don't like the model), and then, mwahaha!

That's my converted chaos troll, he appeared on the first page of that blog, in orange tones. Well i've painted him again, a quick and dirty paint job granted, but for some reason I just can't find the inspiration with him. Anyway, he's probably going to be my troll king when the Warriors of Chaos armybook is released, at least until they decide to release a mini for that guy.

Seems so Yeah, well, in the chaos Warrior book to come, there's a special character, seems he's called Throg the troll King, it's a hero level character that makes chaos trolls core, and gives them all Ld8. He's got nasty stats, including a vomit attack that deals D6 S6 hits (autohit, no save, like normal vomit). So I'll get to play all my trolls, and I get an unexpected new army

Well, it looks like its about to actually turn into stone. The one thing that bothered me is... it doesn't have a droppy nose! I thought about giving him one, but decided I wouldn't touch it because it's a rather rare mini and I didn't want to convert it.
