Thank you, I'm kinda fond of the old metal goblins
I'm looking for a job in computer graphics (is there no English word for that? It sounds so lame) or in production/publication. Well, jobs involving Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. There would be some 3D (3dsmax), it'd be the icing on the cake. Congrats on your job
I had one (desk clerc in an hotel), but I disliked it so I quit. If it doesn't work out (but I'm not worried), I got plenty connections there so I can go back easily. I hope it won't come to that though, I hate dealing with customers >>

Well... there you go, found a job. And painted a couple minis:
Those are not GW nor night goblins (right...), they are nightlings from Harlequin. I got a dozen of those (only the two pose), I got them on ebay, I don't remember why though, maybe they were mixed with other night goblins I bought, or I mistook them for GW minis based on a bad pic (it happens). Anyway, they're just a tad smaller than the previous 6th ed plastic gobs, so they'll fit with them just right, and I happened to miss a couple gobs to fill in a last rank iirc.
edit: I've fixed the green behind the ear, and outlined the fingernails.

They have a uncanny resemblance to the 1991 GW night goblins, they only thing that they dont have is the annoying little stump on the left hand for attaching the old style shields.
Yeah, they do look alike, that's why I didn't sell them back, but in fact, there's differences too: the shot makes them look like that, but they're actually more henchbacked, like the 5th ed plastics, so when you take the whole mini into account, the proportions are more human like, with smaller heads compared to the body. Also, they're almost the size of the 5th ed plastics, so bigger than the current plastic ng or the old metals. In fact, they might be the perfect bridge to mix 5th ed plastics with all the other, smaller versions, older and newer. They really look like the missing link and could ease out the size differences. So yeah, I have a dozen more to convert (I hate clones), but well, you only need to look at them it's not going to be easy, they're one block lumps of lmetals with little opportunity to cut anything away (for instance, the sword in completely fused to the body).

Well... it was Halloween today.
For Halloween, you ought to do scary stuff, so...
It's coming!
Yay! Big Betsy is nearly done. All that is left to do is glue all those cutsies (Mini Betsies!) on her base, and, hopefully, tomorrow, finally, she'll be completed![]()

Wow! Thats great and kinda creepy!
It would look awsome as a 'counts as' squig herd.
I got dozens more of the buggers to do whatever I want with
Anyway:
Big Betsy's done! Not. I realised I forgot to paint the edges of the base as I was taking the pictures. D'hur. Bah, I don't care, ignore the edges, otherwise, it's good to go:
If I write a short story for her, I'll post better pics, those are really bad.
The howdah: it's been tweaked a bit to be in one part (added ropes between the two parts) and it can be removed (for SoM and ease of transport), it's just stuck up there (and it kindda locks on the spikes of Betsy, in a very fortunate turn of event, so even though the fit is only moderately tight, even hitting the howdah by mistake with a finger or something won't make it fly away).
Oh, and for fun, her base on its own:
And with this the spider chapter will be closed for a while.

The addition of those mini spider is an excellent idea, very appropriate and nicely done too. It really gives a true feeling of spider invasion ! Where did you get them btw?

Damn... That is so awesome urgat! It's creepy on a whole new level, and it's very nicely painted. I love the base too. Great idea with the small spiders. Great job![]()
With Betsy I can kinda understand why those little Forest Goblins would start to worship spiders.
You've done a very atmospheric paintjob on the Arachnarok and the base is just spot on.![]()
Spider looks great man, congrats on finishing!
I love how much there's going on on the base. It's completely teeming with life. Great job!

Bit of something different:
Dreadfleet's Bloody Reaver and Eldenhammer, obviously not finished.
Great minis, really, though these sails are no fun to paint. Anyway, what is the best release from GW this year? Hands down the liquid greenstuff. I bought a couple pots yesterday, and I've already reached the point where I wonder how I managed to do w/o it before. It should be called magicstuff or awesomestuff or something![]()
