Thank you, but I don't plan on keeping up the good work up to 16k points like you do
I consider my army nearly complete as it stands, I just have a few more things to buy and I'll be satisfied with it. And since I keep making and remaking paintjobs and bases, well, it still keeps me occupied.

Hop, with my new basic scheme comes some reworking:

(default on the right, reworked on the left)
My night goblins kind of look more like black goblins than anything else, and on their old base (very dark) and the greyish drybrush I gave them well, the whole thing gave my opponents the feeling that instead of units of gobs, they were facing humps of dusty black... stuff. So hop, new bases, new shading, red spears, and more yellow on the capes for additional contrast. That's a very classical colour scheme I suppose, but I like my nigh gobs that way.

edit: looking at that pic, I just noticed I need to have more contrast around the eyes and teeth of the shields as well. Time for some black inking

No, that's custom bases I made, 20*60. Not That I'd really care placing only 3 on the larger base anyway.

well, bases:

(the bases really look better in reality than on that pic, I mean, you can't even see the difference between the one in progress in the middle and the completed one on the bottom of the pic).
Casting is too complicated and expensive for me, but I've found something in my father's basement which saved my day:


With this, I can sculpt bases very fast and easily

These are various sketches for a giant squig (to be played as a giant in my NG army), and the big wooden ball I'll sculpt to be used as the base. The elected version is the one in the top right corner btw, maybe I'll scan the pic later.

Mmh, not that I have anything new to show, just a bit of random thoughts concerning my wonderful tool I showed above:

The thing is dangerous, well, I knew it already. Got extra careful and stuff. Still, this afternoon, I tore through my thumb (ouch ><). Nothing terrible really, just some skin that went away, didn't go too deep, but it made me realize two things:
1) the thing is very efficient, alright, but, when you use it, it sends nasty vibrations in your hand and your arm, and, well, they go numb without you noticing. So suddenly my hand just went lose, and I dropped the thing on my thumb. So if you ever happen to use something similar, make sure to take breaks often enough, to avoid incidents
2) I should have used a softer wood, that one is hard as nail and it takes a goddamn long time getting anywhere. Still I think my giant squig should look cool enough in the end

i like your "latest" night gobo colour scheme!

i just recently (3months or more) started to paint my own night goblins (bought 3boxes of skull pass ) and my main colourscheme is red!

I'll try to get a picture if i don't forget to ask my gf her cam.

Thank you for the comments. I'm currently painting my rock lobber (well, only the guy with the stick to finish, in fact). I'm slightly annoyed as it is missing a few parts (namely the goblin with the flag and the orc bully). I bought it on ebay, can't really call the customer service to have them, can I, and since the bitz thing on the online store is gone, well, I'm screwed.
Good luck on the gobbos Fhoen, painting all these goblins will be some work
