So... here's a post from almost exactly 4 years ago (minus about a couple weeks. man was I a whiner):
http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...=1#post2595084
I figured it was about time I painted it
But first, of course... I have to finish building it
There was, of course, that "mild" problem with building it:
http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...=1#post2741688
Well, I don't remember how I did it, but that wing was already done when I unpacked it, and it seems pretty sturdy. Tomorrow's a bank holiday. Hopefully, it'll be completely built
It will make a perfect wyvern for Storm of Chaos.

Nice warpy trolls, that will be a nice wyvern!
I mostly never read my ramblings on here. It looks to me like if written by somebody else. A friend of mine read some posts lately and just nodded, I do not know if that is bad or good.
EDIT: See now you have gotten some attention.![]()

Here the next cardboard scenery piece that will be available on my store:
Meant to be a guardian stone from the random scenery table. I've noticed I didn't speak of the river in this thread. Ah well, if you wanna see it, head to my terrain blog (see sig).

Hey Urgat,
I've just read the whole log, and I must say I am impressed! Your collection of greenskins is huge, and your basing / painting is great! Starting a greenskin army aswell (only around 100 models yet) and it has been a nice inspiration!
Keep up the good work![]()
Thank you thank you
The mega horde is slowly progressing:
As you can see on the bottom right shot, I've had to do some... her... creative basing in order to achieve the truly chaotic feeling of that horde of gobs. If you want to break the ordered RnF feeling, you got to have minis outside of the usual 20*20 boundary. One step was to make regimental bases (lots of 20x40 and 40x 40 bases in there, as you can see), but i wanted even those to blend together, hence the few overhangs (there's two in that pic, the wall, and the goblin with a bow on the small rock on the bottom left pic, his forward foot normally rests on the half rock on the base in front of him, though it's hard to tell on the small shot i guess.)
Oh, the goblin unit with the outdoor toilet and the tree fit right in the big gap, by the way. The unit can also be divided in two units 5 wide (the 3 left columns and the two right columns - with the goblin green and camo green numbers) conform perfectly. I can also cut the units by ranks, of course, though only the 5 central columns can make seamless cuts, the green ones have raised areas that will make for abrupt cuts. I figured it didn't matter, it's unlikely I'm ever going to cut that unit in more than 4 units.

Well, here is a cardboard Dark Elf obelisk:
It's what I'll use for my Shrine of Khaine from the BSB terrain generatorI'll sell a slightly simpler version later (see terrain blog).

Looking forward to seeing your common goblins all done up, Ive been really struggling with mine this past month. I have a huge amount to assemble and paint and have managed a total of one! even then, I'm not very impressed with it! waiting to see how awesome this latest batch is to inspire me!

I hear ya, I have tons of models on my painting table, and no motivation at the moment (damn you, World of Tanks!) ...
Maybe we should threaten to kick our respective behinds to motivate us ?![]()
The only thng that really motivates me is having games, and I haven't had one for almost a year I think![]()

Other then one demo game in a GW back when 7th came out, the last time I played was about 1998!So I know exactly what you mean! More games will always equal more motivation to paint more hordes! Maybe it's time I buy my other half a TK army and force her to start playing, or to just sell up our home and more some where more wargaming friendly!

1998? Where are you from? You should post in WFB general and see if there's other players in your area. For me, it's more a matter of working on and off and basically not wanting to move during weekends because of tiredness (when I work) or bad mood (when I don't). If I really wanted to, I could get a game this weekend, problem is, going to where the players I know are costs me a bunch in train, and it's just not the right time for that. I could also play in the local store, but I just don't like it.

You have a great plog Urgat, I'm a long time lurker and I totally love itYou have some really clever ideas for conversion and unique pieces ^^ i love how you painted the Warplock's trolls and I'm curious to see where the mega horde heads! The new terrain pieces are actually really well made
![]()
ThanksWell Warplockmonkey's trolls are so cool, they deserved that I tried and do them honor
I'm curious to see where the goblin horde goes too (haven't touched them since that pic, sadly). As for the new terrain pieces, well, you can have them if you want too, see sig (hint hint
). The orc idol is available in two colors (you get them both together, you can print whichever you prefer, or both if you want to):
