Count Olaf gets a paint job

Right I had to rush to get things finished, so did not get chance to post pics before I left.
We had a great time and got 3 wins, 3 losses and a draw, however the draw was in the last game and was down to 1 inch (I needed to roll a 4 instead of a 3), this would have meant 4 wins and 23rd place, instead we got 60th out of 116... So not bad bearing in mind how hungover we were the first 2 games which we lost...

Off to Sweden now for a week, but then I have another doubles the next day (sat after next) and then 12 days to do 1400 points for the club challenge, so lots of painting and pics to come (plus some repair work as one of my Terries got drop kicked)....

Right back now, had some bad news whilst away on holiday and things might have to slow down on the ole painting front..
I am still going to the CC though and will borrow some minis if I cant paint..

But in the mean time, this bank holiday wknd I am painting away (while I can)

Did not make the one day doubles and had to make severe changes to my CC list as the comp level was so high.

Hence I now have to do some swarms and a Krox / skink unit, along with my slann..

If I get time I will be doing a baby steg as well, but I reckon this is wishful thinking on my part.

I wanna do my stegs right in time for the GT in October (I'm taking 5) and not rush them..

So there will be some pics soon, right now I'm stripping, assembling and creating some more bases..

Oh boy.. You have some balls, keeping a cat around your figures
The dude I share my appartment with, has a cat. A few days ago it strolled across my table and toppeled a few figures. Including a dwarf standard bearer, that I was working on, which landed on the floor.

the paint came of a few places, and the top of the banner is rather twisted. Man was I pissed. Now I've put it away. Lets see if I ever get to finish it .. grrr

Right 3 days to go and I have finally got back into the painting groove..
First up is my Steg, he still needs a lot of work as the howdah is only base coated but it will do for now...



I need to do a 26 strong unit of Skinks and krox, all running down steps again, you can also see the bases I am using for my Swarms, who will all be albino coming out of lava pools..





And using the nice old 5th Ed Krox...

I need to do him a BsB and finish the volcano, complete with lots of lava...

Great idea with the volcano, I'm very curious how it will turn out with the lava finished. Lord OlafXtl () is certainly not cold blooded...
