Soon i'm going to start a new fantasy army, since i've bought almost everything i need for my ogres (painting is another matter). So while i was browsing the GW page and my army books, i found daemon legions. It seems like a perfect force, since it's small and can be painted quickly (and lots of nice models with great converting possibilities). First i thought about slaanesh, but one of my closest friend just started a slaanesh legion. So i decided to turn to tzeentch. The models look beutiful and i love the colours, but from what i heard on boards and tournaments, the only effective Tzeentch legions are cheesy air forces flying around and avoiding combat while you shoot/magic your enemy to death. This dosen't seem like a fun force to play.
So my question is, is it possibele to make an effective and entertaining tzeentch daemon legion without resorting to 40k like tactics? An example on how to construct such a list would be very apreciated.
